I have dealt with Northwest Landscape and Stone supplies ever since bringing my business here from the Island in 2010. The selection in stone is great and pricing is competitive. The service is great and the staff is helpful and friendly. Their Boulder yard and saw shop in Squamish are other places that are worth visiting. Northwest supplies local stone products as well as products from around the world. I will continue to deal with them and can highly recommend them. Thank you!

I've been with HomeStars for about two years now. First as a free listing and then as a paying member. It has been a rocky road at times but there's been improvement of late. My first rep was a bit of a "dudd" and of very little help to me. It was very difficult then, but like I'd said: that has changed and I keep my fingers crossed. And NO it is not easy to gather reviews at even the best of times. Promises are made but rarely kept. People are busy with their own lives and even a top quality service rendered is viewed as completed with the final payment of the invoice. A review is over and above that! Besides, there's a lot of mistrust when people are asked to go on line, give up some of their personal information (emails and phone #'s) in order to file a review. Still, I find HomeStars a valuable service for homeowners and contractors. Of course common sense and the old "customer beware!" does enter the picture. No system is perfect! I will keep my eyes on things and see how HomeStars develops in the future. For now its an invaluable tool for my business, it helps me serve my customers better. And to all homeowners out there that use this site I like to say that there are still a lot of honest, professional and worthwhile contractors out there, such as myself! We all pay the price for the "fly by nighters", the "rip-off artists" in the world. As a side note: I do find the site a little difficult to navigate at times, maybe that could be looked into? In closing I like to say that is vital to guard this website and its process from those who are trying to corrupt it by using fake IP addresses in order to further themselves with fraudulent reviews. Credibility needs to be foremost if this service is to work in the way that its founders had invisioned.

Out of all the Home Depot stores in Vancouver this one is without a question my favorite! They seem to have the best selection and the most helpful and knowledgeable staff. I always thought that all Home Depots were the same........apparently not. I never have been keen on box stores in general, but it seems to be the trend and has been for some time. So if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, I guess. I do miss the personal contact with the staff though, the times when everything was a little (a lot?) less "generic", including the service. But since there's very little of that remaining, this is definitely the store to go to. Beats Rona hands down!

Unfortunately I must say that I'm less than impressed whenever I visit this store. The service leaves a lot to be desired. There are exceptions but most staff seems very disinterested in the performance of their duties, have little product knowledge and are often not familiar with exactly where certain products can be found within the store. A little smile once in while (not pasted on!) would go a long way as well. I've been around long enough to remember when Rona used to be Beaver Lumber and it wasn't much better then. The only reason why I go there at all is their location which is relatively close to my home.

Perimeter Drainage was hired to partially excavate the frontage of a home that I was contracting in Lynn Valley. The work involved also the repair of a broken sewage line and the supply and installation of backfill materials. Perimeter drainage was diligent in the performance of their work and I was satisfied with the result. I can highly recommend the services of Perimeter Drainage. Thank you

Being a Masonry Contractor myself it always gives me pleasure to be able to heap praise on other true journeymen. Mehmet and his brother Taz more than fill the requirements to make them part of this fraternity. We all know just how difficult it can be to find qualified and reliable tradesmen They fill the bill here as well. Their work is superior, their prices are competitive. They are on time, true to their word, clean and polite. We are very happy with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a top of the line plumber. We are impressed. Thank you so much guys! Vanessa & Bernd
