I had 4 roofing companies quote the project. Some was covered by warranty. Kelly showed up gave an estimate with in 10% of everybody else. He updated me constantly as we were in the rain season, educated me on some why's and how's of roofing, accommodated me on several dates changes, and replaced the whole thing in a day like they were never there. Highly recommend Kelly and team.

Following a series of heavy rain storms a small leak developed around a skylight. Hubbard staff promptly attended to the assessment and corrective action even though the roofing work Hubbard did for us was years ago. We are most impressed he gave us effective, friendly service at a very busy time. This builds great customer loyalty.

In the fall I reached out to five roofing companies to quote on the work to replace my shingles and the leaking eaves from hail damage.

The workmanship of Hubbard's crew is outstanding and would have no hesitation to recommending them to anyone. They were slightly more expensive than others but it was well worth the extra to pay for the quality and now peace of mind my roof and eaves are in better shape then when we first built the house 19 years ago. The work that was completed was a full roof replacement and the entire eaves trough replaced.

We had cedar shakes installed by Hubbard 21 years ago and were pleased with them then. We had damage by woodpeckers and age and so we looked at Hubbard for a solution. They gave a options for repairing and replacing. We decided to replace and Hubbard worked with us on colour and options. Hubbard gave us an approximate time when the work could be done and they met that date. Our foreman kept us informed and answered all questions. We were pleased with the care during the job and the cleanup after of our yard (and the neighbours). We were very satisfied with the job done.

I noticed some leakage and possible mold in our attached garage. I started my search on the internet for roofing companies. I sent emails to three of them. Two didn't even bother to reply. Kelly responded very promptly and not only that, he came right to my house the next day to see the issue in person. He did a thorough look at possible causes for the leak (it was a bit of a strange leak probably caused by ice damming) and then told me that he would consult with one of his senior guys and get back to me with a quote. I received a very reasonable quote within a few days and they told me they would get me in asap as they didn't want my leak to cause any further damage. From the time I sent my email to getting the roof completely replaced was only about a week. The guys who worked on my house were super friendly and professional. I could see they were doing a good job and everything they said indicated that they took pride in the excellence of their work. I was very pleased with all interactions of this job. Even for the payment, they had asked to mail a cheque and when I indicated I would rather drop it off in person, they came right to my house to pick it up instead. I only needed the attached garage done at the time but when it comes time to get the rest completed, this will be the company I call.

Several windows in my house were in poor condition with dry rot and warpage, and needed replacing. Hubbard quoted and was accepted. The work was done over 2 days. The installers were hard working and friendly and cleaned up after themselves.

The exceptional part of this story is that when two of the windows were removed, it turned out that the previous owner (a nitwit, I am thinking?) had done the work himself. The NItwit clearly lacked knowledge and skills. He used no "header" to distribute the load around the window hole, and no vapour barrier (hence the rotting sills). After informing me and discussing it, Sean quickly organized some materials and they did the best they could to fix this up ... It isn't a full header, but it is much better than it was (it lasted 27 years plus with no header) and should be good. The foamed insulation they used will act as a vapour barrier, and I am confident this fix will last the life of the house.

No hassles, no haggling, just taken in stride and dealt with as best they could... I would recommend this company's crew to anyone.

We had an old gravel roof on our house that was built in 1960. The roof needed to be replaced. We had several contractors come out to look at it. We were not happy with the solutions they suggested.
