After calling around and getting nowhere, I was referred to Maric.
He came in with the right parts a few hours later, provided clear information and transparency on the charges.
Maric replaced the faulty pressure valve in no time and provide very useful information about future possible issues with my water heater.

After contacting several other contractors, I was referred to Maric to deal with our furnace died. He came almost immediately and diagnosed the problem, got the furnace going and returned the next day with the proper part. He also serviced the furnace, dealing with a potential issue others had missed in their "inspections. I highly recommend Thermal Edge and Maric for anything HVAC related. I was charged a ridiculous unfair price by Maric, 300% more if you buy the part locally. Here is the fact. My furnace would not start. I called him, He came to my house and advised me that my furnace ignitor was broken and needed to be replaced. (he did not advise me that i could buy the part locally),He showed me the cost of the part is $145 dollar, then he said he usually offer 20% off but he would charge me for only $100. I was glad even though I had no idea what is the actual cost of this part. I trusted him and thought that he would give me a reasonable price. However, when i googled the part and found out that it costs only $35 to buy it locally. So I called him. He said that he did not charge every part 300% more?depend on what kind of parts and he decided how much to charge me. He said because he had the part available at the time, this is why he could charge so much to me. I was not satisfied with the answer. How could you justify 300% more for only 15 mins work? and I already pay $80 for you to come. I understand you are running a business, but it got to be a fair price, not 300% more!!!!!

Last week on the coldest day, my heating broke. I was referred by another heating company to Maric because he carried the parts for my heater. He had a lot of calls but still came over after 9:00 pm to fix my heat. Highly recommend!!

Maric just pulled out of my driveway. I was so impressed, I logged on to HomeStars immediately so I could rave about his work.
I contacted him this morning (Saturday) and he was able to accommodate my call for help within a few hours. I had been without heat for 2 days. He quickly assessed the problem and although he could have easily convinced me that I needed a new part, he offered a solution instead and it worked like a charm!
He took the time to explain everything and didn't make me feel like he was in a rush, even though he still had other calls to attend to. He was very thorough and respectful of my home and clearly knows his way around a furnace.

Maric added 2 new ducts for my duplex as well as dampers for the remaining ducts to make sure the air flow was consistent in both my apartment. He was on time and didn't rush the job. He stuck to the quote he provided and got things done on a timely fashion. I will use him again for my furnace replacement.

I was renovating my basement and wanted to move the hot water tank to another location in the basement. This is an old Victorian house that had many renovations done in the past, so it had gas pipes and water pipes running all over the place. Maric from Thermal Edge removed all the unnecessary gas and water pipes and reconfigured it all. He ended up working well into the evening but was always smiling and behaved very professionally. Even though he was getting calls from other customers about other issues, he never lost his cool and took his time to finish my job properly. I was very impressed with the quality of his work and the detail he took in re-plumbing everything. He even went outside caulked around the new vent pipe. I know this is minor but I’ve seen many contractors not bother with this final detail, which ends up causing water issue later. I just can’t say enough about Maric, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional in heating, cooking, and water heaters!

I have used Maric’s services on several occasions now. On each occasion, he was knowledgeable, prompt and willing to go out of his way to help. For example, one time, I called him and he came over within an hour. Another time, he needed a part that wasn’t immediately available so he rigged my furnace to work temporarily so that I wouldn’t have to suffer in a cold house until the part came in. While he was there, he fixed my gas fireplace too! Throughout various trips back and forth to his truck for supplies, he always thoughtfully removed his boots upon re-entering. His prices are always fair and I know that I can always trust his work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to a friend – and I have!

Maric came to repair our furnace. He was in and out within an hour and carried out the necessary repairs and had all the parts he needed on hand. He was professional, knowledgeable and an overall nice guy. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him for future maintenance calls.
