Elite Appliance Service – Toronto

We have 2008 GE combination microwave / convection oven that had a faulty switch in the door, such that it was turning on even when the door was open! I called Elite and they set up an appointment within 2 days for a technician to come. Alex was EXCELLENT. He arrived early (20 minutes), was very polite, friendly, careful, clean and considerate of our space. I could tell that he took care with the machine so as not to damage it or inadvertently cause additional problems (such as broken plastic tabs, etc.). He also made a point of contacting his supervisor to ensure that his assessment was correct and that nothing had been missed. He did a good job of communicating what the assessment indicated, what the options for repairing it were, and how the fees, warranty, etc., worked. He was also quite fast and efficient, only requiring about 45 minutes to assess and complete the repair. We received excellent service. Hood of range wasnt working and called the company who came in 48 hours. They explained the problem and fixed it quickly.

They were recommended by GE/mabe to service a new laundry centre that was recently purchased and leaking water after 1 load. EAS contacted me within 24 hours to schedule an appointment with the tech. Tech came on Saturday, found out the leak in one of the hoses and ordered the replacement part. Once the part came in on Tuesday we scheduled for the next day for the swap out. Tech was polite, took off his shoes and had the job done within an hour. Your situation and timeframe could be different depending on the part. But overall very satisfied with my experience.

Do not trust this company. They are dishonest. They do not tell you about the flat rate fee at time of diagnostic.

My gas dryer was making a horrible noise. I contacted Elite and was able to make an appointment same day. The replacement part can ASAP and the technicians were quickly back to repair it. Great job and service

The technician came fix my oven very friendly very professional asked me if I had any concerns. Any questions showed me how to prevent it from happening how to fix it if it happens again. Definitely were recommend using the service

Last year our 3 year old fridge died and the technician from Elite Appliance replaced the compressor. 3 weeks later the fridge failed again. It failed due to other bigger problems with the fridge. The second technician recognized the fridge was unsalvageable and helped me get a free replacement instead of returning for multiple service calls. Very kind and honest service. Didn't try to overcharge or do unnecessary service.

Our fridge compressor had problem they are very professional. THAKS TO JOE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Trying to save others from a terrible experience.

It took this company a week to fix my LG washer. Unfortunately I had already paid the initial diagnostic fee so I was obliged to follow through with the repair.

The technician they sent was misinformed and inexperienced.

They finally received the part a week later and the same technician came to my home to fix the machine.

They ended up charging me an exorbitant fee to repair the machine.

The other concerning thing was that the technician refused to leave our home without being paid. Normally companies will invoice and payment can be made later as most people work during the day.

This technician physically refused to leave our home. Our nanny felt uncomfortable and threatened. Completely unacceptable. Unfortunately I was at work otherwise would have called the Toronto Police. He finally left after I made the payment online.

Save your money and time and STAY AWAY from Elite.
