I just had the home pro's person come to my house today to do the chimney cleaning and I am very unhappy. I've had my chimney cleaned several times prior and there is always soot that comes down into the fireplace itself which they then sweep out. This person was on the roof for 30 mins (not sure what they were doing) and then came down said it was clean and took the voucher and left. The fireplace it self was not touched and is in the same condition it was in before the cleaning.
It looks as if it has not been cleaned at all and there is no way that you could clean the chimney (the soot will fall down into the fireplace) without disturbing the fireplace itself.

Our service technician who came out to do the chimney cleaning explained to you that there was nothing really in there and that the chimney was fairly clean. However we dont want you to have to pay for a service that you dont need so we are willing to come back in the fall to re clean it for you at no charge or we are happy to offer you a refund for the previous cleaning.
