Archie and his team did a fantastic job installing our retrofit windows and doors. Started and finished the job on schedule, cleaned up, and were always courteous. We are very satisfied with the product (Vinylbilt and Maxdor) as well - the new windows and doors look good, function well, and are easy to clean.
Would highly recommend the Sobol team for window and door installation.

Archie came to visit us by giving great advise on what windows need to be replaced and those that just needed casing repair - saving us several thousand dollars. New installation was done on time and smoothly. After the post inspection minor remaining work was completed promptly

We were very happy with the service from Sobol throughout the process. Archie came to our house on a weekend to provide the quote and was very friendly and professional. The quoted price was very good. Sobol scheduled us in for before my wife's due date. The baby came early and they were very accommodating in rescheduling the installation, holding our new window in storage for over 2 months while things settled down. I selected Sobol to replace my front entry doors based on their stellar rating on HomeStars and I was not dissappointed. My doors look fantastic and are the envy of the neighbourhood!! They are a 100% improvement from the previous door installation done a year ago. That was the worst door installation ever !!! (refer to my review of Hollywood Doors) Archiel is courteous and explains the entire job in detail so there are no surprises. I was a little apprehensive that Archiel himself did not install my doors, but his crew led by Maga did a superb job. He really took his time to do a proper job and I'm completely satisfied. They get my full recommendation and will not hesitate in using them again.

We picked Sobol because of the reviews listed on Homestars and were very happy with the results. Their price was fair and work done on the agreed schedule with no hassels. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for doors/windows.

Fantastic service. Daily updates by staff and contacted by lead guy (Archiel) at beginning of, during and after installation was complete to make sure that we were satisfied. Totally professional. We also used them to fix problems created by a previous window installer who was not very professional. They arrived on time and cleaned any area that was used for installation. All companies should have this kind of customer service and workmanship. A+++++++

Sobol Window replacement is great. The guys are professional,courteous, and extrememly tidy. We had no mess after having 16 windows replaced. The windows look great and work well. We had several problem windows that previous companies said they could not replace. Archie and the boys solved the problems. They removed part of an old deck to replace a basement window and designed a special mirrored window to replace an existing mirrored window in our bathroom. Every other company said that it was not possible to do. These guys are hard working and innovative. I would rehire them in a minute!

I had three window estimators give us quotes on replacing many of the windows on our three story house. Archie impressed me right from the beginning. He did a thorough and detailed job of estimating. We had a mix of window types and Archie was the only one that knew what needed to be done for all of them. Archie and his crew started and finished the job when they said they would. It took a week and a half and at the end of every day there was no mess left around and no uncovered openings. The workmanship was excellent and I highly recommend Archie and his crew.

I reached out to Archie for a quote to replace our 4 basement windows, plus a single window on our 2nd floor. Archie came out, measured all the windows and was really thorough in his review of our existing windows. He did what the others didn't which was jump into the window wells to check them out up close. His quote was competitive - in the middle of all other quotes. He came out with his team (Maga & Lien) on a very very hot & humid July day to install the windows. I was impressed at the measures he took to make sure that all work areas were clean - they put drop sheets down on all areas from the front door right to where they were working. They did a great job. The windows look great, and the trim and caulking were done beautifully. We even asked Archie to add trim around an entry door to our garage (for him a small job...for my husband, a much larger job!). He did this for us too for a small charge, and it looks fantastic as well. All in all, I would highly recommend Archie and his team. We hired him, not based on cost, but first by his rating on HomeStars, and 2nd by his responsiveness, attention to detail, and lastly, his friendly professionalism. All of the windows are now done in our home, and I really wish I had found Sobol Inc. before, so they could have done the other ones!

Archie was a delight to work with - a true professional. Ours was an oversize door and we wanted an invisible double screen door as part of the installation - other suppliers told us it couldnt be done. Archie figured it out and had the door custom made. It is exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend!
