Our job involved converting a glass block window to french patio doors. Because it involved cutting the wall open, we had many contractors quote and describe how they would complete the work until we felt confident that we found one who really knew what he was talking about. The completed job by Archie and his team was beautiful and we feel the quality of the work is very good. Not only that but Archie arrives when he says he will, returns all emails quickly, and was very helpful to show us the doors in advance at the factory. He provided a very detailed quote (more detailed than anyone else) and was extremely respectful in our home with our children and our floors/walls, etc. I would definitely recommend Sobol and hire them again if the need arises.

I found Sobol Inc on Home Stars after another contractor told me that a screen door could not be installed on my front door. (Yes, Archie did it perfectly!) I was planning to install four screen doors but after Archie came out to measure, he advised me that I might be happier replacing two of my doors which were not in good shape. He introduced me to steel doors with working windows (so they double as a screen). He beautifully attached wrought iron bars over the windows to satisfy my security concerns. He is very patient and informative in the planning process as his philosophy is to have you happy with the end result. All the door frames were finished beautifully and I feel like my doors are pieces of functional art. Archie has not just exceptional skill—but a passion for what he does.

Archie and his team were fantastic to work with. Archie was responsive from beginning to end, including coming out to repair an issue with the door a few months after initial installation. Archie is extremely professional and takes pride in his work. We will definitely use Archie in the future and have recommended him to family and friends. Thanks for the great work!

Having a history of good relations with Archiel, at Sobol Ibc., I called him again for another job. He answered very fast and came to see details of the work that needed to be done. He gave me a booklet to chose my favorite door, also provided several links to different sites, should I wanted other options. After we agreed to all details he provided an approximate time when the work will be performed; that evaluation proved to be accurate. The work was done one day faster than initially estimated. I considered the price to be fair for the work done and I appreciate the fact that Archiel has kept the same high standard of quality as I knew from previous experience with him and his company. I will call him for another job we already discussed about and would recommend him for any similar work that someone need to be performed.

I found Sobol Inc via Homestars and am thoroughly impressed by Archie's professionalism and customer service. When I initially asked for a quote, he came out at night so that both my husband and I could be there to ask questions. He went through the various window options with us and provided us with 2 different quotes from different window manufacturers. And when Archie came to install the windows, it was a clean, quick and very professional installation. The new windows look great. And about a week after the installation, I had a question/problem with one of the windows and Archie sent someone to my house the same day that I emailed him, to fix the problem and explain to me how to prevent it from happening again. Great customer service and great quality work. We will definitely call Sobol again when we decide to replace other windows in our house.

Many other window guys from the big companies were arrogant, pushy and sales like, but Archie came on time, with good ideas and a sincere interest in our plans, along with hand on expirenece.

On installation day, the team was quick, courteous, friendly and extremely tidy. You wouldn't know that work had been done other than the great new windows in place!

This is the second time we have used SOBOL and Archie to install some new windows in our home. As usual, Archie was on time, and he and his worker installed the 2 windows perfectly. We were extremely pleased with the result and will no doubt be calling him when we decide to tackle the next set of windows.

Archie returned calls and emails promptly and scheduled an appointment to visit my home very soon after we spoke. When he came to give the quote, he was professional and courteous, offered suggestions that resulted in cost-savings, and was patient with my goofy puppy. The window were ready to be installed quite quickly after the order was placed, and the installer was equally as friendly and capable. The cost of the replacement windows was less than what I expected while the product is of good quality. Overall, I was very pleased with my dealings with Sobol Inc, and will be calling them again in the future.

I used the same window contractor for years and I asked him to quote my recent job. Like some of you, I was initially skeptical after reading all the glowing reviews/testimonials about Archie and his team on both Homestars and Sobol Inc.'s own website. Now that I have actually done business with them, I have to say that Sobol lived up to its exceptional reviews and exceeded my expectations at every turn. From the moment I called Archie a little over a week ago to completion yesterday, everything - site visit/estimate, written quotation, installation - went ON or AHEAD of schedule. I was especially impressed by Archie's responsive manner and the fact that he did not try to oversell or inflate his prices given the tight deadline that I had to meet for this project. I received higher quotes from other contractors who required more time.
When Archie came on site to inspect the finished work, I asked him about the front door of the house, which was not opening and closing as smoothly as it could. Archie, Maga, and Yuri gladly agreed to fix the problem for a nominal fee. This reinforced my impression of Sobol as a nimble, accommodating firm that I am happy to recommend to everyone looking to have doors or windows replaced/serviced.
