Pods - Mobile Storage

This was the very first time I bothered getting a company to assist with storing my stuff while my house was being renovated. After speaking with a few friends who recommended it, I decided to try PODs for my last reno and was very satisfied. They were on time with the unit, it did the job well and the whole reno went off smoothly without all the junk in the way. $300 was worth the cost for less hassle during the work. I'd pass on this recommendation for sure.

I was in between homes and used PODS for storage of my home items. This was very convenient as the POD was delivered right to my driveway. I loaded it up and the POD was picked up and kept at their storage facility until I was ready to have it delivered to my new address. This was so much more convenient than the traditional storage companies. Highly recommended.

We used PODS to store our belongings between selling our old place and taking posession of our new place. The ordering system was very simple, they delivered the POD when they said they would, stored our stuff for 3 months and then dropped the POD off at our new place. The container loading system is really neat and makes it so that the unit doesn't tilt during loading/unloading, so our stuff stayed exactly where we put it! This was an awesome service!

I would NEVER recommend using PODS to anyone.... that I liked. They hide behind the small print in a big way. I was deploying to Afghanistan and had to put my entire apartment into storage for the 1 year of training and deployment. You THINK you are paying a lump sum ($675.00) for insurance but the fine print that they didn't show me indicated that was for only TWO MONTHS! I came home to an insurance bill of over $1,300.00 dollars and if I had the pod moved to my new place so I could unload it, it would cost me another $1,500.00 on top of that! They don't tell you these details of course. I ended up unloading the pod at the storage site (thank god a buddy had a trailer I could use) and move it myself. This is a great service if you are storing the pod on your drive way during a reno but NOT good if you need it like a soldier does! Make sure they show you ALL the documentation and get all the legalese translated to english before you sign on the dotted line!

After a divorce moving is a pain in the a$$, the Pod experience was convenient allows you to move at your timetable. The storage facility is controlled and secure.

I would recommend Pods to all my friends and family.
