I hired Andy for a home inspection. Andy is knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and punctual. He walked me thru most of his inspection explaining what he sees and pointing out what needs to be done (if necessary). He answered any question I threw at him and made me feel comfortable about my purchase.

Hired Andy when our original Home inspector flaked on us. We had one day to do an Inspection and firm up on our offer. Andy was very through with his report and left no stone unturned. It was great working with him and I recommend him to anyone looking to get a home inspection.

Andy provided is with an inspection, and came recommended by our realtor. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, as this was the first inspection I had been able to attend.
Andy was extremely thorough, and made me feel very comfortable and confident in going through with the purchase of our home.
He explained every little detail, and provided solutions to amend each one. He was also very specific in letting us know which details to be aware of regarding the negotiation of purchase, and which ones were minor and could be”quick fixes” that we could leave out and do ourselves.
Being that it was winter, and we had just experienced a thaw and snow cycle, the roof wasn’t visible for proper inspection (although he tried his darnedest anyways)! Despite this, he offered to come back in the spring, and inspect it for us, free of charge!
He left no stone unturned, making us extremely confident in the purchase we made!

We put a conditional offer down on a home and were excited about it. Safe homes Canada did our home inspection. He was very methodical, talking to me as he went telling me everything he saw as he went. Didn't sugar-coat anything, told me the good aspects of the home as well as the issues he saw and how much he thought it would cost to correct. Found fungal growth and rotten support beams in the crawlspace as he crawled deep under the home where I didn't think he would go. We decided not to go ahead with the sale as the issues identified were far too much trouble than we thought the house was worth. We feel like we dodged a bullet with that home Thanks to Safe Homes Canada. It was my first experience with a home inspector and frankly I wasn't very trusting, I invited a contractor friend of mine along as a second opinion and he agreed with everything the inspector said. I won't need a second opinion next time.

Andy is an amazing and thorough home inspector. He is very methodical and has a system to be very thorough in his inspection leaving no stone unturned. If there's any issues Andy will find them.
