Gen Manager-Yuri and wife Daria sent invoice of flat rate 4,300. After all stuff were picked up, they changed the invoice with a balance of $7,811.00.
One of the movers was very nice but very unprofessional as they dont have something to cover their dirty boots, they came in around and didn't care to step on the carpet.
Upon receiving the new invoice, I emailed and asked the location so Uhaul can pick our stuff as everything at Uhaul for 2 van containers cost us only $ 5,150. But
email has no response, and I called many times to the phone on the website and Daria said she doesnt know the location and said Yuri is on vacation to UK and will answer the email when he wakes up but since Dec 27, until now Jan 11, 2023 emails I sent are not answered.
Yuri called me when I mentioned on my email to ask help from the Police. He said he will give me discounts for those items bed and dresser that he double billed and he said the truck is already on the way, which is not true, and will deliver by Jan 5. I told him, he cant deliver that date because the position of the house is Jan 9 as stated on my first email.
He called again on Jan 5, saying that the stuff will be delivered on Jan 6 or 7 and I said no, should be Jan 9 and he said, ok i will put your stuff in our storage and be delivered after 2 weeks.
Then he called again Jan 7, 2023 and said the truck will be there Jan 9 at 8 am and I said no after 1:00 pm. He
insisted that the truck will be there by 8am and he will charge me 100.00 hr for waiting (cant remember the exact amount)
When we arrived to the house the truck was already there. The driver came out (I believe he is Yuri) , same person who came to the house with the other mover
. He told us to call the office for the payment. We negotiated for the payment as the money in the bank is not yet available but they want the money upfront before our stuff will be downloaded. The driver took a picture of oir house and left.
We went to the bank, I called and got a bank draft
amounting 7,811.00. My husband and agent spoke to Yuri but he refused to accept the bank draft as he wanted money transfer (interact) . We explained that interact has a limit of 3,000 per day . He said I want wire transfer but he did not provide a bank information. Our first night was horrible having 2 yr old grandson, all
of us 5 adults slept on the floor nothing on even blankets.
The next day, we tried to call the same number and spoke with Daria involving the bank teller. They dont want cash, they dont want 50 50, they want transfer the money first. After money has been transferred, I called and no answers on both numbers. We end up sleeping on the floor again for the 2nd night. Today Daria said, the money is still on hold and will only give us the access of our stuff one the money is available they should understand now how the bank works instead of hostaging our belongingsyou can see how these kind of
people, taking peoples money upfront.

The order was placed just 2 days before the move. The truck and movers arrived at the appointed time, worked quickly and accurately. As a result, the move was easy and without problems. Thank you, I advise everyone to use the services of Trans Movers

Hiring Trans Moving for my Toronto - NYC relocation was a nightmare from which I am still trying to recover.

On top of holding my possessions hostage and extorting me to pay $1,000+ more than agreed upon, I was genuinely afraid for my bodily wellbeing, as the movers came late at night and were making inappropriate comments as well as asking inappropriate questions that made me feel extremely unsafe. I filed a complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Services but they are backlogged so I likely won't see any of my money returned for at least several more months but below is the text of the complaint letter to give further detail on my horrible experience:

Dear Yuri [last name ommitted],

As indicated in my November 28, 2022 email, the workers that performed the pickup on my moving service in Toronto conducted themselves in a manner that was [ommitted in accordance with review guidelines]. As you are further aware, your workers arrived late on both the pickup and dropoff, and you charged me $1000USD more than the contractually agreed upon "flat rate" of $3000USD. I informed you on November 29, 2022, via telephone that I contacted the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services and they advised that this constitutes a violation of the Consumer Protection Act.

I am requesting that Trans Moving Toronto issue an immediate refund of the total $4000USD paid in light of these rights violations. Please respond by end of day this Friday, February 11, 2022 with the full amount sent via e-transfer to this email address. If you fail to take this opportunity to resolve this matter I will be forced to proceed with the complaints process through the Ministry.

For the first time, there was a move from one apartment to another in Toronto - a small truck was ordered. They called in the morning at 10.00 and after 2 hours everything was already transported. Two movers quickly and carefully loaded the boxes into the car, lowered them themselves and then lifted them up. Delivered at the agreed time.
The second time I had to transport a lot of fragile things, we were very worried that nothing would break. But everything went well!

Bad bad experience with this company!
Horrible communication. Horrible service.
It’s just sucks that companies like trans moving aka easy moving Still operating.
I hired them to do a moving job from Toronto to Florida(Bedroom and Dinning room).
All they cared about is taking a deposit before giving you further details.
They didn’t arrive on time as promised.
Check this out…. They sent a truck with 1 driver no helper!!!!! Minimal tools.
We had to help the driver(in his late 60) off load the truck and bring it to our condo. we paid them over $3000 for delivery, full setup and removal of packing.sadly it didn’t happen.
The only thing they did was driving the furniture from Toronto to Florida.
We had to help the one driver to bring the furniture up. They didn’t setup a single item due to luck of experience and minimal tools. They didn’t unpack the furniture, they didn’t remove the packing.
They took ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY!!
We had to do it all by ourself.
Shame on them!!
Never again. It’s sucks that I have to write a bad review on a company.
But this is a true story that I had to share.

Yuri and his team of movers quickly got in touch and helped organize the movers literally the night before. The movers also tried, wore them carefully and never rested for 3 hours of focused work. The price is not low, but also not high, moderate. I recommend it to those who want to get a really professional service, for reasonable money.

Moved with Trans moving from Toronto to Saskatoon in mid-October. We were generally satisfied with the move. The guys were friendly and polite. We asked a lot of questions, as moving is a very important step for us, and the guys answered everything. Many thanks to Yuri and his team for a high-quality and inexpensive move.

These guys really know how to make things easy. The team cooperated during this process and acted friendly towards each other, which created an overall great atmosphere throughout - nothing can be better than having professional people around doing hard work for me.

If I could give negative stars I would. I hired them for a long-distance move and they were terrible.

- They operate under several names - check into the email addresses and phone numbers.
- They were 2 weeks late and kept telling me that they were on the way. The driver who showed up told me he had left Toronto 3 days earlier after a last-minute call.
- They added charges to the invoice and wouldn't begin unloading even though it was wrong
- They tried to charge the wrong sales tax
- They stopped moving 1/2 through and demanded I write a note to not complain about them.
- They said they have insurance for damaged goods and they have damaged several items. They won't call or email me back.

If you want to increase your blood pressure ,anxiety and want to have heart attack then by all means hire this company. Their GM Yuri can even block your phone number once they receive your money and your stuff.

Never on time weather to pick up in Toronto (6 Hrs. late with no communication) or deliver in New York. We were promised 3-4 days to receive our stuff in New York and received after 17 days and that too in all damaged and broken condition and some items even not delivered (delivered to wrong address) They don’t even honor insurance claim for damages. Few Photos attached for everyone to see before hiring this movers.

As of today no response for following from Mr. Yuri of Trans Moving Toronto

" Pending issues with the above referred contract are listed as under.

1. Resolution for broken and damaged 55 inch Samsung make TV which was communicated right away after delivery in New York with photos (photos attached again and invoice for the TV purchase price)

2. Trans Moving movers in New York came alone to deliver and he asked us to help and my son had to help him to move all the furniture from truck to apartment

Bedroom set has not been assembled by Trans moving Toronto movers which is there in contract that it is Trans Moving movers responsibility to dismantle and reassemble the bed room set

Trans Moving Toronto needs to reimburse at least $200 US Dollars for not doing the reassemble service and for us and to help move everything from truck to apartment immediately

3. Reasonable Steam cleaning charges to clean all couches for stains and scuffs due to improper wrapping and handling our furniture

$125 US Dollars for hiring professional cleaners

Not to mention that even delivery of our stuff was executed after 2 weeks instead of 3-4 days as per contract which incurred hotel stay in New York for two weeks ($150 US Dollars per day)

I think I am trying to be reasonable considering the fact the kind of hard time and tension Trans moving(Easy Moving) gave us during the entire moving process to New York "
