Company is a REMMACS
Gen Manager-Yuri and wife Daria sent invoice of flat rate 4,300. After all stuff were picked up, they changed the invoice with a balance of $7,811.00.
One of the movers was very nice but very unprofessional as they dont have something to cover their dirty boots, they came in around and didn't care to step on the carpet.
Upon receiving the new invoice, I emailed and asked the location so Uhaul can pick our stuff as everything at Uhaul for 2 van containers cost us only $ 5,150. But
email has no response, and I called many times to the phone on the website and Daria said she doesnt know the location and said Yuri is on vacation to UK and will answer the email when he wakes up but since Dec 27, until now Jan 11, 2023 emails I sent are not answered.
Yuri called me when I mentioned on my email to ask help from the Police. He said he will give me discounts for those items bed and dresser that he double billed and he said the truck is already on the way, which is not true, and will deliver by Jan 5. I told him, he cant deliver that date because the position of the house is Jan 9 as stated on my first email.
He called again on Jan 5, saying that the stuff will be delivered on Jan 6 or 7 and I said no, should be Jan 9 and he said, ok i will put your stuff in our storage and be delivered after 2 weeks.
Then he called again Jan 7, 2023 and said the truck will be there Jan 9 at 8 am and I said no after 1:00 pm. He
insisted that the truck will be there by 8am and he will charge me 100.00 hr for waiting (cant remember the exact amount)
When we arrived to the house the truck was already there. The driver came out (I believe he is Yuri) , same person who came to the house with the other mover
. He told us to call the office for the payment. We negotiated for the payment as the money in the bank is not yet available but they want the money upfront before our stuff will be downloaded. The driver took a picture of oir house and left.
We went to the bank, I called and got a bank draft
amounting 7,811.00. My husband and agent spoke to Yuri but he refused to accept the bank draft as he wanted money transfer (interact) . We explained that interact has a limit of 3,000 per day . He said I want wire transfer but he did not provide a bank information. Our first night was horrible having 2 yr old grandson, all
of us 5 adults slept on the floor nothing on even blankets.
The next day, we tried to call the same number and spoke with Daria involving the bank teller. They dont want cash, they dont want 50 50, they want transfer the money first. After money has been transferred, I called and no answers on both numbers. We end up sleeping on the floor again for the 2nd night. Today Daria said, the money is still on hold and will only give us the access of our stuff one the money is available they should understand now how the bank works instead of hostaging our belongingsyou can see how these kind of
people, taking peoples money upfront.
