Titan Construction

I hired this company to clean my walls and ceiling after soot damage. These pictures were taken after the cleaning was done. Not a very good job for $753 and I'm still going to have more cleaning done! Waste of money.

This company has no INTEGRITY whatsoever. I read the brochure Brandon handed me upon meeting, as well as the reassurrance of the appraiser and adjuster "Titan" will handle removal and restoration. I spent 4 hrs at -30 c removing what we could and marking other items for thier removal by titan at a later date. Titan had gone and removed everything from the house however items marked for restoration, they claim were my responsibility to remove them, therefore nothing was kept. I had a complete living room dining room and bedroom set of mid century vilas furniture, this belonged to my grandmother. 3 pieces were unsalvagable however 7 pieces untouched by fire, very smoked damaged. When this process began i was rold anything i wanted to try to keep Titan was to take it back to thier shop for cleaning. So I ask how is the responsibilty mine to remove the items i was instructed Titan had to clean??? I have now lost everything, i can not replace the furniture ive spent 40 yrs dusting everyweek, the memories with my family that those pieces were a part of.
They have no accountability, not even for thier iwn brochure

Titan was the contractor that my insurance company cursed me with after a sewer collapse. Initial meeting was positive and they appeared engaged and competent. Six months later, the job was finally completed when I totally freaked out on my insurance company and got them involved. NO communication, shoddy workmanship, loose flooring, snotty contractors (some, not all - the flooring people they use are just RUDE). Unbelievable. If your insurance company saddles you with this group, just burn your house down. Trust me, it'll be less painful.

Do not use. Works for insurance company not for you. Very shady behavior.
Sloppy work-taking out toilet and sink not capping it off as an example. Would never recommend this company to anyone for anything. Ever.

Within 30 minutes of my call, Tate was inspecting my basement. Within 45 minutes of his call to a crew, the clean up was in process. The workers left my home with fans and a dehumidifying unit with clear concise guidelines of the how they will follow up over the next few days.
The work was utterly professional with the support and kindness of the staff truly turned this unusual and disappointing situation into a positive.

We had a pipe burst in the ceiling of our finished basement and Titan was recommended by our insurance company. The service was outstanding and they were very clear about the steps in the process, what was coming next, and what to expect for timing. They coordinated various trades and service companies efficiently. Now that the work is completed, you can't even tell where the repair was done.

We had a leak due to an ice dam last January and had damage to two rooms, both walls and flooring. Initially our insurance agent assigned another company, but we asked to them switch to Titan.
It took a long time to have the work done--it wasn't finished until August. However, my understanding is that the wait times for contractors were very long due to so many homes having been damaged by the heavy snow last winter, so I don't know that any other company would have been different.
We found Titan disorganized, but that's true of every contractor I've dealt with in Edmonton. This was probably due, in part, to the lead person on our job being in Slave Lake for a few months.
It was irritating because people would show up at the house and refuse to work, saying another tradesperson had not done some piece of the work that had to be completed first. The next day, that tradesperson would show up and refuse to work because the one from the day before hadn't done something. This happened repeatedly over a few weeks.
That said, the lead on our project was generally polite and reasonable and did try to deal with the mix-ups.
The people they sent were fairly considerate and seemed experienced.
Titan isn't the contractor of my dreams but they're much better than others I've dealt with in Edmonton and I believe they are honest and well-meaning, based on this job and other work they have done for us. I will (and do) recommend them to friends.
