I special ordered tile. I was told it should be in on Friday. I booked my installer for the following Tuesday. I called on Friday only to find the tile had not even been ordered yet so I had to cancel my installation and rebook. When the tile came in I wanted to look at it to make sure it was right because my installer had to move around his schedule to fit me in. They would not let me look at the tile because they were concerned if it was opened and transported it might break. When my tiler arrived to install the tile we found it was the wrong tile. Ordered wrong by my sales person. Again the tiler had to leave and reschedule. He was beyond angry. When the right tile arrived and was installed I was charged an extra $100.00. I asked Empire Kitchen to cover that extra charge but they would not. It makes me wonder why a company like that would risk a negative customer experience for $100.00. The extra charges were no fault of mine. I myself am a Customer Service Manager and I will do anything to ensure my clients are happy. It appears Empire Kitchen doesn’t care about their customersso beware.
