We had the identical problem as the other reviewer. They were late starting and it took them over two months to finish job a job they said would take at most two weeks. Our major foundation repair took only under three weeks so its hard to imagine why this took so long. We should had been concernd when they did not start until a week after they were supposed to. When they finally showed up they put the wood, on the ground along with the cement and did not come back for over a week. We were supposed to have a wooden gate to drive our car into the back and the first time they put the 6x6 posts in they did not follow the plans and placed then 10 feet apart instead of 12 feet so we could not get the car through. As such, they had to dig them out and put them in again at the proper distance. Over the next two months Bytown Lumber showed up sporatically and finally after numerous phone-calls had a crew hurry to finish the job. In doing so, the screwed in all the hinges and handles without drilling first and split the wood all the way along the posts. Furthermore for wood detailing they just cut with a jigsaw rather than using a router for a nice finish. As such, the finishing work is all eneven and looks shoddy. I had to phone them back to put the caps on the posts as well. When I complained to the company about the poor quality of the fence they told me that "my expecations were to high". I would never recommend this company to anyone and we continue to be really disappointed with the fence. I have attached photos to demonstrate the poor quality of the work.
