Fireplace

The technician was on time (early)and very pleasant. He was professional and took the fireplace apart and found out immediately what was to be repaired. We would highly recommend Mr Fireplace.

Didn’t give up

My outdoor fireplace has not been working for almost two years. Another fireplace company took about 6 months in trying to fix it before they gave up, but not Danny at Mr Fireplace. Despite the fact that the fireplace was obsolete, and the parts either unavailable or difficult to find, Danny did not give up. His determination, patience and skill have returned my beloved fireplace to working order and at a very reasonable price. Kudos to Danny & Mr Fireplace - I highly recommend them.

Example: Cleaned and serviced fireplace to our satisfaction. Service tech very knowledgeable and efficient. Would recommend to friends.

fire place install

I had no problems with Mr.Fireplace initially as there selection was good, Dave seemed competent in delivering what we asked, the problems arose from the install.Not sure why Mr.Fireplace decides to sub out there installs as if they didnt do this they would maybe have a better bead on what was going on.
We had a father/son team who arrived late ,banged the fireplace down the stairs as I think it was too heavy for the older of the two .I had to listen to the 2 of them argue back and forth while installing my fireplace and in the end to secure the plate to the floor joist drilled two screw holes through my Kitchen floor right beside our pets bed and where our kids run around.I have notified my sales rep Dave, and management and still have no answers as to how they expect to make good. Not impressed,
Since this was published Mr.Fireplace stepped up and paid for the damages to my floor and in quick order I might add.I will use them in the future and will chock up the incident as a error on the part of the installers not Mr.Fireplace

Gas insert fireplace

We were very happy with the service and installation of our gas insert fireplace. We placed the order and before we got home, there was a phone call to set up the pre-installation appointment. They did the installation and arranged for the city inspector. The only service improvement would be if they provided their own electrician.

fireplace repair

my dealings with Mr. Fireplace were nothing but unpleasant. The individuals that showed up were to change out a simple valve on the fireplace due to it not working properly. Keep in mind that this was a 3 year old condo building/fireplace. According to the manager of Mr.Fireplace the valve was replaced and the igniter busted while they were replacing the valve. They did not notice that until they came back a 2nd time, therefore charging for a 2nd drop in fee. When they finished the work in the afternoon they demanded payment right away, before I could see if it actually worked this time. So when I told them no payment until I see it actually working, they threatened me with a lean on the condo.
Now the part that pissed me off, keep in mind we paid them all ready $600 to change out the valve and fix the fireplace. I get home fireplace still does not work. I called a separate vendor to come check the work that Mr.Fireplace did. Well low and behold the valve was not changed out, they have a date stamped on them when they are produced, mine was still dated 3 years ago. So the new vendor changed out the valve for $400 dollars and it works just fine.
When I confronted the manager at Mr.Fireplace they told me that was impossible. I told him well I have the original valve in my hand and a bill for $400. Since I stilled owed $50 for the igniter and drop in fee. He mentions that if I don't pay the $50 dollars they will place a lean on the house. I asked him why he is not standing behind his work, answer "why should I you already paid me". I told him forget it, I am not paying the $50.
I would not recommend Mr.Fireplace to anyone, better to keep your money and not have a fireplace that works.

We are sorry to hear about your unpleasant experiences with our service. This is out of character with our company as a whole. It is not our company policy in any way to put a lean on someones house for an unpaid invoice. I would also like to let you know that the manager that would have been here at that time is no longer working for us.

We here at Mr. Fireplace stand behind our service and if a part that we replaced had failed so soon it should have been a warranty call not a chargeable call.

Again I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. If you like you can call in and speak with a manager and we can look into your case more thoroughly so we can prevent this in the future and right any wrongs with this case.
