Like most people reviewing this business, I have been SCAMMED by Weedman. We cancelled our service with them last summer because our lawn was no better. I also refused to pay for a treatment because it burned/damaged my lawn and the tech sprayed his crap all over my driveway/sidewalk which I had to spend an hour cleaning so that my kids could play bball.
We had harrassing phone calls all summer. Got a call in Nov from the Manager Steve who "offered me a GREAT deal for Spring". I told him to send me the information and I would think about it. I was told that it had to be pre-paid in November. We decided to rip out our grass this year and do interlocking so I didn't send in any payment and figured we were done with this company.
Spring comes along and guess who shows up to spray my lawn and leave me a nice $55 bill. I called in and said I never authorized this. Customer service is non-existent. The woman I spoke with had her back up the minute she answered the phone even though I was being very nice. Obviously this company gets ALOT of negative phone calls for her to react like this. I told her I wanted no further services and that I refused to pay any money to them.
I received a call from someone about a month later asking why I had cancelled my services. she was very nice and after I explained my situation she said she would cancel the invoice.
Last week I received an overdue invoice. I called in and was told VERY RUDELY that I still owed them the money. The woman was just nasty - refused to listen to anything I had to say. I spoke to a manager who said that he would check the "recording of my conversation with Steve" and find out what was said. Was told that I would receive a phone call the very next day. Surprise, no call.
I'm sure I will receive another invoice in another month. I'm not paying it. Send me to collections, I don't care. A pissy unpaid on my credit history from Weedman is not going to kill me.
Steve: I notice that you have read many of these comments. Do you not think it is time your company made some changes??? Do you not get that your current business practices are NOT WORKING. I would be horrified if my company got as many negatives as yours.
