The Floor Shop

This is the second time we have used this company for hardwood purchase and installation. After our first amazing experience we did not go anywhere else this time. We had the floors installed in both bedrooms in our condo. Cost was amazing. Crew showed up exactly on time, looked after our furniture like it was their own and cleaned up after themselves. Would never go anywhere else for hardwood flooring!

The Floorshop has an impressive selection of flooring in addition to knowledgeable staffing. Having gone to several flooring retailers, I was more than happy to find The Floorshop which had exactly what I was looking for with the added bonus of pleasant staff to assist me.

My house is over 100 years old. The living room floor needed replacement. I discussed the project with Larry at the Dundas St location, who provided very helpful advice. The crew installed the new hickory floor efficiently and with great care. The result is beautiful, comfortable underfoot, and improved the room's acoustics. I definitely recommend this company.

We got excellent advice and service from Lary (Etobicoke location). We are thrilled with our new cork floor. the installation was difficult because of our old house, but the job was done very well. The baseboards were also installed with great skill and care. We are very pleased.

Debbie from The Floor Shop, Mississauga came highly recommended to me. From the onset, I found her dealings to be very professional and in a timely manner. Her estimation on product quantity and pricing was very accurate. Her "install" crew too were very professional, polite and courteous. They answered all my questions and shared some options with me. The workmanship is absolutely incredible, almost to perfection! I say these guys are true "craftsman". They even cleaned up after the installation? The place looks simply amazing. My experience with this company has been excellent and totally 'hassle free". Hard to find these days. I would suggest that others take a leaf out of Debbie's book, a Model Dealer.

This is the first time using the Floor Shop and working with Debbie was a wonderful experience.. Everything she said would happen, happened and she followed up every step of the way.. We have used The Floor Shop (Wicksteed location) twice for replacing the hardwood floors in our 60 year-old home. Both times we have been very satisfied with their work. Allan and Andrew are extremely professional and friendly in providing a quote and organizing the work, respectively. Woytek and his crew do an incredible job at installation and try to minimize the disruption to the household. The work was done as promised and on time both occasions.

The Floor Shop did an impeccable job installing our wood floor! All of the employees I dealt with in the Wicksteed store were extremely friendly and knowledgable. Their professionalism really made the whole purchasing and installation process quite painless.

This is the third time I use The Floor Shop to install hardwood floor in about fifteen years and I have been perfectly satisfied each and every time. This time I had to install a wood floor in the dining room and entrance of an 1883 Victorian. So I turned to the Floor Shop again for their unmatched selection of floor styles. The Floor Shop provided suggestions, gave us advice on flooring types and price options, and allowed us to take several samples home. The estimate was done on site when I was available after work and was a good opportunity to get feedback from an experienced professional about the problems to face with the install. The three installers came on time on the agreed day and finished on the same day -- the place was left clean and without mess and there was only minimal dusting to do to restore the living area to its function. Wojtek and his team were especially excellent at installing the high baseboards and did a perfect job in spite of all the many corners and turns in the room (including a fireplace and the inside of a small closet), and the uneven levels.
