I have very unpleasant experience with TheBay. 2 weeks ago I bought a patio set and paid $75 for the delivery. Well, I took the day off and waited at home on the scheduled day but nobody came or called me. I tried calling customer support but got no help either. He literally said: I don't know why it was not delivered to you call the same number tomorrow. OK, the next day I called customer support again and the girl said it will be delivered to me the next day - on Sun. I asked her if it is going to be really delivered to me or just another promise. She said: absolutely! When I asked her is she can guarantee it she put me on hold and later said: Sorry, looks like this day is all booked the next available window is 2 days from now - on Mon. OK, I again asked her if she really mean what she said. She again put me on hold and surprise, surprise! it appeared that that day is booked too. So she gave me another day on Wen. I don't understand - if I didn't insist on her confirmation I would be wasting my time again and again? Waiting fruitlessly on Sun, then Mon? Why TheBay has such a poor customer support who is not able to do a simple task - just schedule a delivery. It is not free, I paid for it. It's 3 days from now and I am not sure if they really going to deliver it on Wen. I would never buy anything with a delivery from TheBay.
