After using this company on a few occasions the work become worse and worse, phone calls are not returned and the owner John was always asking for "cash" payments well before they were due and "cash" was not even agreed on. When we asked for a GST number he produced a list of numbers and said "pick one". He dishonestly "promised" maplewood based boards and door frames and used MDF as we found out after finish on one project began peeling. One customer is still waiting for over ONE YEAR to have a project completed. This is how renovation nightmares are born and what gives the industry a bad name. This is a very slippery dishonest company.

I have had two kitchens, one bar and one Dining Set made by Mike's Custom Woodworking in the last 3 years. I have been very happy with the attention to detail and final product.

This renovation has been very stressful. Although the end product is very good, getting there has been very difficult. The cabinets were over 2 months late, the cabinet doors were poorly stained which resulted in them having to be stripped and restained. They went ahead and installed a cracked glass insert hoping we would not notice. Our call have been avoided, when we did make contact we have been assured on many occasions that someone would come would come and they never would. We are still waiting for the replacement glass panel to be installed and we were promised someone would come to replace it 3 weeks ago. We were informed that they were doing 7 different jobs at the same time....this explains alot. I would rate the company alot lower but the end product is very good (although we are still patiently waiting for it to be completely finished) Be carefull with this company, make sure you get everything in writing and don't pay until it is completely done as per your agreement.
