Am very impressed with both product and service we received at GEM Windows and Doors. Price was very reasonable, quality of windows is excellent, service was personable, efficient and friendly, wait time for manufacture was good, and finally, the installation was very professional, neat and thorough. If you need new windows, don't hesitate to order with GEM!!

Our windows were initially very old and started to show signs of deterioration. They were the old style one that used to open out and we had to push the window outwards. We hired GEM windows and they came and gave an estimate and we were satisfied with their price and work.

My wife and I have been quite happy with the workmanship and quality of the windows and storm door that GEM Windows & Doors installed at our home in 1994. What continues to really impress us, however, is the fact that they stand behind their products and are willing to service them at a moment's notice. Just yesterday, they repaired broken latches in the window of our storm door cheerfully and without any charge. And the problem had been caused by us in the first place! Now that's pretty classy! I recommend GEM Windows & Doors without reservation.

Great company & people to deal with! We had GEM Windows & doors replace all new windows throughout our home. Got exactly what i paid for and delivered / installed on time. Several years later, we were having a new kitchen installed and one of the interior vinyl frames they previously installed needed to be replaced. They just asked which window, as they still had all the drawings on file! WOW! ! ! I received it in 48 hours!
We are clients for life now!

This was our second time using Gem Windows to replace some of the existing windows in our home. Their customer service was excellent, and the fit and finish of the windows was also great. The turnaround time for making the windows was quick, and the installers arrived on time, and were very professional. Thanks to Jim and the team at Gem.

GEM Windows and Doors installed a patio door in our condo. The order waiting time was approx. 9-10 weeks, as it was in a contract. When our custom design door was ready they called us and set up a time for the installation. Installation of the door (which included cutting out cement wall in the building an half of the window frame) was in two days. They did a great job, very professional and it seemed to be they knew what they were doing. They didn’t let us worry about the whole process, the job was completed in a timely fashion and exactly what was promised.

Once again GEM windows came through in quality and service.In May we had 2 casement windows installed along with a full glass storm door on our front entrance.Later in June we replace a slider window in our kitchen with an awning style window,for ease of operation.Seymour and the install crew were very informative and courteous through out.From start to finish.Next year we will be replacing two large front picture windows,and we'll be using GEM once again.

We noticed that another house on our street had windows replaced by GEM and thought they looked really nice. When we decided to finally replace all the old windows at the rear of our home, we decided to give GEM a call. Expecting them to be very expensive, we found GEM to be very competitively priced. We had them replace our basement windows first, and based on these good results, had them return to do several other windows.GEM gave us clear detailed quotes with various price breakdowns to illustrate the options, accommodated unusual measurements and window configurations, as well as a custom colour for one window at the front of the house. All staff associated with GEM arrived on time, and worked quickly and efficiently. The installers were particularly good, doing a very complete and professional looking job and leaving the area clean. We are very happy with the quality of the windows and the excellence of the installation. We found GEM easy to deal with, and would call on them again.

The salesman was professional and courteous, I was impressed that the owner actually called me after my first contact to ensure I had been looked after. Price was very good and the quality of the windows is excellent. The installation team was prompt, polite and did excellent work. They cleaned up after themselves and left my home neat and tidy. A few minor issues with the screen on 1 window, a missing floor lock will all be addressed shortly.
I will recommend Gem to anyone. they are very good.
