I contacted the centre, they couldn't understand what was going on, as they weren't getting the signal. Someone came out, thought it may need a batter change. We have an older model security.
He became concerned because many people like me switch phone services, and aren't told that perhaps the pulse signal is not correct. The line I had (Rogers)was not a true pulse signal as Bell Canada's is. Therefore we had paid for protection which were not actually being delivered. Thank goodness we didn't have a burglary, as it wouldn't have been detected. The service man was very informative, changed the battery to a new one. When he checked the signal, still they weren't getting one. We did receive a billing notice, which we disputed.
