Alex from Amazing window Fashions installed our vertical and horizontal blinds. He was very knowledgeable and delivered everything on time. We would recommend this company to others and will also continue to use them in the future.

We purchased Polyshutters from Alex in April 2012, we were very pleased with the how the shutters looked. Beginning of June 2012 my wife pointed out some 'warps' on one of the shutter plastic seals (plastic strip between two shutters). We called Alex a few times before he called back, however, he felt the defect was a fault of ours without coming to see the item. He said he would come by to inspect. Again in October we called again and he tried to say it's the owners fault without seeing the situation and that he will try to come by to inspect, it is now December and i have left a message last week with no reply. I am disappointed in the follow-up of this company and what they stand behind, the product was installed for only 3 months and they could not even come to see our concern. Good product; poor commitment to customer followup and satisfaction.

We have been very pleased working with Alex and Alan at Amazing Window Fashions, a family business. They recently installed blinds in our living room and kitchen. We were impressed by their thorough knowledge and sound judgment regarding their products, especially when dealing with a tricky issue posed by one of our windows. They were punctual, friendly, patient, accommodating, and helpful from the first consultation meeting, the showroom visit, and installation, through to making some final tweaks after installation. We were very happy that we never felt pressured to buy, nor did we ever feel they were trying to up-sell us. In fact, they helped us find a product that was more economical and suited us better. The blinds arrived exactly three weeks after we ordered them and were installed the next business day. The installation was meticulous and completed in a timely fashion. The price seemed a good one to us (and in fact was significantly lower than another quote we received from a vendor who was having a 50% off sale) and there were no unpleasant surprises in the final billing. The product is of high quality and we are delighted with the result and with the whole purchase experience. We highly recommend this company.

Absolutely happy with Alex and his work. His great communication and knowledge is what made us decide to choose this company for shutters at our other home. A year later and they are still looking great with absolutely no problems. They have held up great, especially with tenants now renting out our mississauga home.

This is our second time using Amazing Windows in less than 2 years.
We opted for the Pollywood shutters after talking it over with Alan on our first house. The installation, quality of work and attention to detail during that installation thoroughly impressed my wife and I. The overall product was flawless and new home owners who eventually bought our house commented on the how much they loved the shutters.
Based on our initial experience with Alan and Alex - we opted to use them again on our next new home. We again went with Pollywood shutters and again were impressed with how much attention they provided us during the shutter selection – Alan came to our house on 2 occasions as well as met with us at their show room to make sure we were happy with our selections.
During the install when ever I had a question about any part of the installation Alex was quick to take a look, listen and explain to me what was being done as well as take my comments into consideration and act upon them if needed.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Ted a new install guy on the team, who was very personable and equally as hard of worker.
Being repeat customers in less than 2 years I can honestly vouch for the integrity of these guys - they are great team and take their business very personally.
Since both my last 2 homes were new builds - I have dealt with a lot of trades teams and Amazing Windows is by far one of the best team we have had the pleasure of dealing with.

We were looking for shutters for our new home (37 large windows) and had researched 4 companies. The prices were all competitive for the shutter that I was looking for (MaxxMar).
We went to all 4 compaines to look at their products, and Amazing, as by far the most knowledgable and had a top-notch showroom. We were introduced to Alex, whom gave us all the facts without any B.S. in regard to all the different shutter types. Since I was just interested in MaxxMar vinyl shutters, Alex first show us their pros and cons. Next, he then showed us a far superior product called PolyWood, that had all our criteria we were looking for (internal gears, 4.5”) plus better performance for insulating the home, both in summer and winter. I was sold and decided on the PolyWood.
Alex was then able to provide me with a respectable quote for the superior product, beating any cost for those other vinyl shutters.
Once we worked out a timeframe for Alex to come to my home and perform the correct window measurements and final cost, I paid for half of the order up front on my MasterCard.
Alex specified that it could be 4-5 weeks for the complete order, due to the number of shutters and their sizes. I was not too concerned as he had proven his honesty and sincerity for his part.
When the order finally arrived, which was in fact early: (3.5 weeks), the team (Alex, ,Alan, Ted), installed the shutters with professionalism and speed, taking care not to damage any of my property.
It took 4 hours to install all the shutters except for 1, which was beyond the control of Amazing Window Fashions due to a window frame defect that first needed to be corrected by my home builder. Alex promised to return to install the single shutter at a later date, once the window frame was fixed. One week later, after I had the window frame repaired, Alex and Alan returned to perform some very minor adjustments that I had with the installed shutters, as well as install the 1 outstanding shutter.

I liked that fact that Alex was professional and fair, and was a person whom said what we would do and did what he said… A trait that is hard to find nowadays.

If you are looking for the best shutters for your home, and want to work with a respectable company to do the job right, then I highly recommend you check out Amazing Window Fashions for your needs, and skip the false promises you get from the competition.

You will be amazed on how fantastic the shutters look, and what they provide in energy savings.

First I want to say the product is amazing, the shutters are second to none. Also, I have no problems with delays as long as I am informed before they happen. The biggest problem I have is being left in the dark and promises to call back never happened.

Alan came to our new house to help us with shutters (Lower level) and blinds (upper level). He was great answering our questions. We were not sure which blinds we wanted so we also went to their new showroom. The prices were competitive and Alan showed us around the new showroom after I gave him the deposit. We were told it would take 3 to 4 weeks for the installation to be completed.

4 weeks pasted by and I did not hear anything from them, so I called to follow-up on my order (It was a Friday). The woman who answered the phone said she would call back in 10 minutes and let me know. 5 hours later she phoned back to tell me that the shutters were in but the blind would be in on Monday and they would call me to schedule the installation by Tuesday. Tuesday past and I did not hear from them, so I called on Wed to follow up again, she said she would call back and 5 minutes. 6 hours later no phone call, so I called back and she rudely told me that Alex would call me to schedule the appointment tomorrow (so I assumed they were in). No one called on Thursday. I was getting tired of dealing with the woman on the phone, so I phone Alan and left a message explaining the situation and asked him to phone me back. He never called, but I did get a call the same day to schedule an appointment (the install date was 6 full weeks after i put the order in) and was told Alex will be doing the installation and it will take 3 hours.

On the installation day Ted showed up and explained that they were very busy and they hired him to help with the installation. It took him 7 hours to finish the installation, I had to scramble to arrange to take off more time off work since I only booked a half day off. Alex came by later that day as there were some small issues with 'side channels' I ordered. He explained he was going to stop doing the installations and focus on other parts of the business. He also checked the install job that ted completed. Make sure you have some touch up paint for the window frame as I showed him a chip/scratch on the window frame that went down to the wood, he said it was normal since the frame is not square. Also, one of the blinds was measured incorrectly (totally understand mistakes happen) so they had to re order it. When I mentioned that I was going to pay most of what was owing and the rest when other blind was installed, he seemed offended but after discussing it he agreed. I also explained the communication problems and he appologized. He then said he will call me on Monday to tell me when they would expect the missing blind would come in.

After all that Monday passed and no one called! I had to call Tuesday to ask when the blind would be in. 8 1/2 weeks after I ordered the shutter and blinds, the job was complete.

Again, the product is fantastic and dealing with Alan and Alex face to face was great as well. But it is unfortunate there is very little communication with the customer after the order has been put through.

I would assume based on the other reviews that if they were not busy, you would get the order in the 3-4 weeks.
