Josh and his helper made helpful suggestions and kindly moved a piece of furniture to a better location. The removal was completed in a timely manner and when we offered to be help in some way, we were told " just sit back and we'll take care of it" Fine with me! Needed to remove old furniture to make way for new. As promised, the driver called ahead to give me an approx time of arrival in a short window (930-1030), then actually called to say they arrived. True to form, I pointed, they collected and managed to squeeze everything I got rid off into half a truck to reduce my cost. They are polite, professional and efficient. Most of all, careful with the removal of the old as not to scratch/scuff your walls and/or floors.

Third time using Got Junk and the guys are always professional, polite and accommodating. This particular time when i needed a rush, I had a truck to my place within 2 hours.

I have used Got Junk once before for taking stuff out of a basement and they were quick and efficient. So I had drywall, trim and some waste wood in the backyard and thought that I needed someone to pick it up. Calling and arranging a pickup was easy on the phone. However I was quoted about $450 for the whole truck and no expectations set for the sorting of material. When the company came to pick it up they looked at the pile and said that the drywall would need to be done separately due to weight. This was unexpected but he set the price at $800 roughly. It needed to be removed and otherwise I'd have to wait to arrange some people to move the garbage to a separately ordered bin. I went forward with this and they did the work as expected.
I wasn't happy with the initial quote on the phone, I explained the material that I was going to have picked up and thought that the maximum would be $450. I didn't like that this effectively doubles based upon a mix of material. I wouldn't use them for any removal of construction waste as it just isn't cost effective. I later got a 12 yard bin for almost half the cost even factoring labour. I'd recommend them to pickup old heavy trash in a basement or some such things but not for any mixed material construction waste. They don't seem to be geared for it or priced competitively.
