Antique reproduction table

We aquired a very nice antique reproduction tabel with delicate lattice work, known as pierced gallery framing the outside of the table top. It was missing a section which John reproduced and placed in the gaping whole. His work is flawless and we cannot see the repair.
He has restored a few of our oldest furniture pieces.
I would recommend John highly to anybody for any furniture repair/refinishing/restoration.

Mostly fixing furniture before re-upholstering and re finishing

I tell my customers that Restoration workshop can do anything, and I mean it. I always use the example of his taking a piece of furniture from a burned house and restoring it. He took the piece apart and turned the side of the piece around and finished it like the rest. Also repaired an arm on a french chair after a dog had chewed on it, and then matched the faux finish paint to match the rest of the chair. The customer couldn't remember or tell the difference between the two arms. He never lets me down!

restored old furniture

John Abild is beyond "craftsman"; he is an artist. He has restored several family pieces that belonged to my grandmother. One in particular needed a lot of work because of water damage and a broken piece. His repair work was exceptional and the restored finish was exactly what I wanted. He has replaced seats, found drawer pulls to match vintage furniture, and does his work in a timely manner.
