What are Homeowner Badges?

Homeowner Badges are visual indicators that appear on eligible homeowners’ profiles based on their engagement with the HomeStars platform. It is important to note that not all homeowners or leads you receive will have these badges enabled. Only the homeowners that have previously engaged with the HomeStars platform enjoy this benefit. However, each inquiry represents a potential opportunity for growth and partnership. Every lead, badge or no badge, is a new chance to build relationships and showcase your expertise. 

The badges will appear under the homeowners’ name. There are four badges that a homeowner can receive:

  •   ‘Endorsed By Pros’ Badge
  •   ‘Review Writer’ Badge
  •   ‘Hires HomeStars Pros’ Badge
  •   ‘Frequent User’ Badge

The ‘Endorsed By Pros’ badge represents positive recognition from fellow service professionals within the HomeStars community who have previously worked for this homeowner. This badge is given when another service professional on HomeStars requests a review from this homeowner through the HomeStars for Pros app, and has had a successful experience with them as a client. The ‘Endorsed by Pros’ badge gives you useful information on the homeowners’ reputation among other service professionals on HomeStars. This could help increase your chances of securing a job. Additionally, it provides you with an understanding of the homeowners’ behaviour when working with them. As a service professional, it is crucial for you to show up professionally with reputable homeowners. This badge can assist you in making informed decisions throughout the process.

‘Review Writer’ Badge

Receiving feedback and reviews from past clients is a crucial aspect of building your reputation as a service professional. When you come across a homeowner’s profile with a ‘Review Writer’ badge, it means that the homeowner has published a review on another service professionals listing page.
