I needed to have the external water shut off valve and a laundry sink valve repaired, both were leaking. Waterworks sent me a highly qualified plumber to assess the problem and provide a quote. I have used this company many times before, and have always been happy with both the work provided and the fact that they have always honored their quote to the penny. As it turned out, the external water valve needed to be replaced and because the genius who had finished the basement (not me) had almost completely buried the valve behind drywall above the drop ceiling, the drywall needed to be cut away ceiling tiles removed, furniture moved and a new valve soldered in place. The laundry sink needed needed new cartridges installed (both were changed) even thought only 1 was leaking, and all debris was cleaned up completely. This job took many hours more than even I had estimated, yet the company stood by their original quote. Moral of the story, think twice about estimates that sound too good to be true because they probably are. This company uses a fixed price approach which I prefer because it really protects both the client and the company using the average cost of similar work. So this means that some times the work will require a certain amount of time and materials and other times it will take much more than expected. The last thing I want to hear after the job has started is "we have discovered that the problem is much worse than we thought so your we need to charge you much more than our estimate". In my over 40 years of working with contractors I have heard this more times than I care to remember. I want a contractor who has the knowledge and experience to quote me a fair price and honor they price the give me regardless of unexpected events. Thank you Michael and the Team at WaterWorks

Very fast response to my inquiry, easy to get an appointment for a quote. Alex arrived on time to the meeting, provided a detailed proposal and set very accurate expectations as to timing and duration. Work crews for waterproofing and slate installation very diligent about clean up. One minor issue with the railing contractor as they did not do a thorough clean up. Called Jason and within an hour both Jason and Alex were on site, and completed the clean up themselves. They both apologized and were very clear that this sort of thing should never happen with their skilled trades people. I would not want to be the installer after Alex spoke to him. Grand Building and Contracting did not seem at all happy with how the job site was left. Jason was on site pretty much every day that work was being performed and provided regular updates on schedule and progress. Overall, I would rate this company excellent for client service, quality of workmanship, communication, followup, and attention to detail. I would use this company in a second for subsequent projects. This company may be slightly more expensive than some others, but they do quality work, they meet their promises and commitments, and they keep you very well informed along the way. These qualities are not all that common in my experience.

Ross, a certified mold inspector and re mediator came to my home, assessed my mold situation, and advised me on how to solve the problem myself. He also offered to resolve the problem if I did not feel comfortable doing it. What an amazing company. The tell you how to solve the problem and offer to do it for you if you do not want to do it yourself. He even told me which specific products to buy and how to use them. Talk about an honest up front company, well this one is it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. If you have a mold problem or even a question about mold, this is the company to call!!! George Carr

Thanks George, I gave you the detailed step by step because I knew you were quite capable of handling this project yourself, it's not for everyone and that's where I come in. Hope it all went according to plan....Cheers...Ross

This is the second time I have used the services of WaterWorks Plumbing, and once again I am very satisfied with their service. They arrive when they say they will, and even call you when the plumbing professional is on their way to your home. They arrive with all the necessary parts, give you a fixed price up front before any work begins. This is an outstanding business approach, it means you will never have one of those "this is going to cost more" moments. They are very professional, offer water savings advice and answer any plumbing related questions or concerns. So not only do they perform the work, they act as a plumbing consultant for any future work you may have in mind. This is the only plumbing company I will ever use!

I contacted Mr Stucco (Bromley Contracting) to repair the stucco ceiling in my basement family room. A tenant who had previously lived in my property tried to paint the stucco ceiling, and large chunks of stucco fell off leaving the ceiling looking really shabby. Mr Stucco sent out a person to estimate the cost of this repair at my convenience, the estimator arrived on time, and quoted me a very reasonable price. He explained exactly what the price included, and to my surprise, there was no and I mean ZERO pressure to sign a contract or any other commitment to have the work done. I was absolutely amazed that this company is so confident in their skill and expertise that they do not pressure the client for an order. I decided to go ahead, contacted the company my job was scheduled, Les, the stucco professional assigned to my job arrived on time, explained the process, together, we moved breakable items to a safe location, and then the work began. The prep work was fantastic. Everything was covered in plastic so that none of my personal items would be damaged. I have two dogs and was advised to move them to another location in my home so that they would not be subject to fumes or dust from the work being done. How many companies take the time to worry about the impact of their work on your pets? The work was completed on time and on budget I am one very happy customer
