We had a room that had popcorn stucco on all the walls - we think it had been installed so as to cover the cracking plaster underneath. Adam came in and gave us a reasonable quote on a couple options - strapping new drywall over top and a total gut. We decided on the latter option - Adam came in a did a great job, and even dealt with a few unforseen surprises along the way (hornet nest in the insulation!). Overall we were very satisfied with the job that he did.

Jeremy,

I appreciate the positive review. We strive to meet and exceed our clients expectations and even with a few bee stings along the way, the project went without a hitch. Lack of existing insullation, no vapor barrier and delaminating plaster are all things that clearly do not get in our way and can address all unforseen issues along the way. I am hoping with the new insulation and vapor barrier we installed in place with the new 1/2" drywall, the room is alot more efficient and comfortable.

It was a pleasure doing business with you and I am glad to hear you are enjoying the room.

Very impressed with Skylights Unlimited - they were quick, gave my a reasonable quote and scheduled the work in a short window of time. Even when there were problems found with the previous skylight install (they hadn't properly framed it), they were able to repair the (pretty serious) problem at only a small extra cost.

Hi Jeremy, glad to hear that you were impressed with us. Yes, the previous installers had framed the skylight incorrectly, causing damage to the wood around the skylight which we only detected once the singles were removed. We try our best to avoid additional costs once a contract is agreed upon, but sometimes a case like this comes up where extra work must be done to insure that you don’t have any more problems in the future. At this, we do our best to keep our prices down, but still keep the high level of quality service we’re known for. Warm Regards, Sarah

Very happy with Culzac! Even though another air conditioning installer said that given the space restrictions around our furnace and lack of a basement, the job couldn't be done, Dwayne assured us that it could be done, and at a very reasonable price. The install was scheduled shortly afterwards - they were on time, professional, and the cost was exactly as promised.
