There was a freakish winter storm that hit the Greater Toronto Area with high winds and then snow the next day. Being winter, I wasn’t sure how long it would be until the snow on the roof cleared and someone would be able to work the shingle repairs. Jay was prompt and efficient - he worked to do the repairs quickly and kept me informed the whole time. He even took time to remove some of the remaining roof snow (a lot had blown off the roof but not all) and repaired another broken shingle hidden under there. Jay let me know as well the the orginal roof installer should have use 6 vs the 4 roofing nails per shingle sheet and the roof damage probably would not have happened. Great service; Jay takes pride in his work.

This review is late, it is from the summer job that Aire Max Heating & Cooling Inc. did to replace my A/C that broke down in the middle of the hot summer months. The old A/C unit in the home was almost 30 years old so I knew it was time and timing is always bad when you more recently take procession of of a house on your household budgeting (especially in with the GTA market being what it is). Max and team were quick to install on new larger 14 SEER 3 Ton Aire FLO I wanted. I figured the 14 SEER is a little more pricey but I know that it is quickly becoming a energy standard in some of the States so just went all in if I'm replacing the old beast. They were quick and efficient getting the unit installed and the new matching evaporator coil over the furnace. Our AC is mounted on the side of our house (our house is on a hill grade) so they moved the mounting brackets to accommodate the unit dimensions and balanced out the unit on the bracketing as well. If I were to give any feedback for points of improvement, it would be to watch the spray paint! I do appreciate that they matched the mounting bracket colour to the unit unit grey colour, but some of the spray paint ended up on the unit itself and the wall. Not too bad, but should use some sort of spray can controller or plywood blocker.

I had one of my tension spring snap and had to replace it in a hurry. I thought to replace both garage door tension springs at the same time but the guys recommended that I didn't replace the other one as it seemed to be in good shape (despite some rust and neglect). It looked like it was replaced more recently (by a previous homeowner). Save me some coin - they lubed and tighten the garage motor chain for me me as well. Fast and efficient same day service.
