I found Kako Brothers landscaping on Facebook by chance and asked for a quote. I received an immediate reply from Matthew who arranged to come and discuss my project the following afternoon. He arrived on time, was young and enthusiastic, articulate and polite. I told him my visions for the project and he had many thoughtful suggestions as to how to improve my vision. He contacted me the following day with an estimate which I thought was reasonable and told him that I was happy with the estimate and we arranged to meet to hammer out the fine details and pick a start date as well as an estimate of a time frame to complete the project. Matthew and Adam who look like a couple of red headed twins but are not, started the project on the exact date that they quoted even though we picked this date several months beforehand. They are fast, efficient and very competent in their work and all of our neighbours commented on the high quality of their workmanship and speed. I asked for several additional things during the project and they were easy to accommodate me with a reasonable quote of the additional changes such as built in storage sheds, etc. We have now contracted them to build a front porch. As an aside, I never got another quote from another contractor, rather I was looking for dependability and high quality and I found it. Martyn has done 5 roofs over the years as well as fascia and eaves trough. He says what he means and means what he says. He is reasonably priced and reliable and that is important in the roofing business. I have referred him several clients and that speaks volumes.
