Furnace Check-up and Duct Cleaning
While I was a little upset at first, as they had to re-schedule the appointment and then wanted to re-schedule a second time. However, Farid was very polite and did a thorough and outstanding job on the duct cleaning. He explained everything he was going to do before he did it. I felt quite at ease with him doing the work. Very professional.
We decided to replace the windows and doors of our 40-year old condo. Called a few companies, including Centra. Sales guy (Mark) was the most professional. He viewed the scope and gave us a quote right on the spot. Other companies took several days to supply their quote. While Centra were not the cheapest, we decided that reputation, plus a few of our neighbours recommended Centra, so we went ahead. On the day of the installation Scott E., Trystan and Mike B. arrived on time, introduced themselves, explained the process and got right to it. While we were hoping the job would be completed in one day, they needed two. Installed the windows and doors, cleaned up, then went through each one with me to ensure they were working to my satisfaction. All looked good. Next day I noticed some small gaps in some of the exterior caulking, one of the drip caps was a little bent and one door required a bit more work than expected to in order to be properly closed and latched. An email to service, and a follow-up was arranged. The repair guy didn't mention his name, but listened to my concerns, and went to work re-caulking the two windows and adjusting the one door. Very satisfied with door after the adjustment. He didn't have any brown drip-cap material, but will be arranging a follow-up to replace the bent one. He mentioned the 'trick' with caulking windows with the kind of stucco we have is to use your finger and go BOTH ways to smooth out the caulking. Initially looks like the repair is indeed a complete seal. All in all very happy with Centra and the job they did.
