To be honest I was a little put off by Muhammad at first. When I called he would not give me a quote on how much he would charge to treat the bed bugs. He just kept saying he has to inspect the home first. I thought this might be a ploy to get more money as every other company was quick to offer the cost of fumigating. But as I thought about it - an inspection seemed like the right first step. When I called Muhammad back he squeezed me in on a Sunday afternoon (although he could not give the exact time he did called when he said he would to arrange a time). Upon arrival Muhammad thoroughly inspected our three units. He found a little fecal matter, but no other signs of bedbugs - so he assured us the one bug we had found was a male - that was in the bedroom for up to five days, but no eggs were laid. His thorough inspection and brief report helped relieve our tenants and ourselves that we did not need to fumigate. Muhammad gave a lot off good advice and tips that we shared with our tenants in order to be extra vigilant and stay bedbug free.

I took months to finally choose the right company to replace my windows - I got five quotes and took great care to choose the right company - and I am very happy with Brock. It has now been over a year since I got my windows installed. It took a day and half to install 12 new windows, installers were fast, friendly and did a good clean job. My New windows make a huge difference in terms of sound and comfort. Just recently I thought one window's seal was broken and I called Brock - I was still under warranty and Ashley was very helpful. My new window was ordered and the repair person came as scheduled (I even got a call to say he would be a little late - very courteous - an important step since everyone has busy lives and waiting around can be aggravating - a simple call makes it a pleasant experience). The repair person arrived and reassessed the issue and it was taken care of. With my great experience, I would work with Brock and I have already suggested them to a number of friends. Thanks.

Edit: Feb. 2013 The tension wire to the lock on the garage door has frayed (see photo) and about to snap locking the door permanently. I emailed Doods - this is obviously a manufacturing or installation defect. Instead of agreeing that it is a problem - (note this door is only opened about 2-3 times a week - not daily) that the main component of opening the door should not fail in just over two years of infrequent use. The person clarified that I have no warranty (expires after a year) on the parts that will obviously break. I reiterated that two years of infrequent use is not acceptable and asked should all customers expect to spent $150 (or more) fixing the tension wire every two years or less? The only solution offered was to pay full service rates and parts estimated at at least $150 plus tax. I feel strongly that this is a really poor solution for a $900 door. I would have been fine covering the costs of the repair technician and wire ($50), but to try and make money off a job poorly done. I need to replace my second garage door and was simply going to phone Dodds, now I will have to start my search again and ensure no friends of mine uses a company that thinks this kind of defect is solely on the customer. Original Review ---- Null I took months to finally get my new garage door - I got four quotes and took great care to choose the right company - and I am very happy. Dodds did a great job. Friendly and informative quote. Three weeks later I got a call to the set up my installation (as quoted). The next week my new door was installed. Efficient installer work steady, left a clean site. My new door is great - light, secure, great fit. Thanks.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Recognize that something that breaks so quickly is a problem of the product - if they think this type of defect is acceptable they should tell customers to expect to replace parts withing two year or less. If they stand behind their product there should be some consideration for situations outside of warranty.
