Phoned all over GTA looking for basic A-frame single futon frame. No one had it except 1 store, which I found expensive. I dont have a car so would have to pay the very high shipping charges too. Then, someone told me about Beyond Futons. I called and a day later, the product I was looking for was at my door. It is high quality and was almost 1/2 the price of the other store. I also purchased a futon cover, which was almost 1/3 the price of other places! Unbelievable. Perfectly smooth transaction...the owner was very courteous...couldn't ask for a more pleasant experience.

We had this company install laminate flooring in our condo. We also had painting of the walls and ceilings and installation of new baseboards. There were several issues with the work that was done. The flooring was not installed in a random enough fashion so the workers had to remove a large part of the flooring and re-do it. They were unhappy about this and quite rude. As they were working (very quickly), I noticed that they were not installing it tight enough so that there were small gaps in the planks. When I pointed this out, I was yelled at. The baseboards were cut at an angle so now there are openings in the tile below. These openings should have been filled with grout but they were not. The painting was shoddy. Holes were not adequately filled and the work was done quickly. They did not fix pre-existing damage in the kitchen walls. One thing I will say, is that Nick was willing to send someone to fix some of the issues with the flooring, but we could not take advantage of this due to health reasons. The price was good but overall, the work could have been a lot better.

We did a small bathroom reno a few years ago at our condo. we had never hired a contractor before. the tilework was excellent and the workers were great - professional and polite. they even came back to re-caulk our bathtub when it got a little moldy. we hired home depot for the kitchen because they were cheaper but we very much regret it now. i would recommend carick.
