I don't post many reviews and when I do they are usually negative reviews. Finishing up with an 8 month major renovation, dealing with Dennis at General Aluminum was a great experience from start to finish. I needed the Custom Aluminum & Glass Railing system in place for a planned function by a specific time and they delivered and installed early without a problem. They suggested we go with a black powder coated Wrinkle finish and the end result is amazing, by far the nicest and most solid railing system I have seen. I would absolutely recommend this company!

Our contractor hired NewPort Dry Deck (in our case Wet Deck) to install their coating system for a new construction deck. The end result is when it rains we have a constant 18" x 23 foot river along the edge of our deck, and when it stops raining we have puddles on the deck, and when it dries there is a water stain where the river and puddles were. Had them out to look at this mess, but they won't do anything about it, except say REFER TO THE CONTRACT, what a joke. The owner suggested we cut our support posts under the deck to lower the edge of the deck that they built up too high causing the river problem. REALLY, cut the support posts that also holds up our roof, a suggestion from an amateur. This company DOES NOT stand behind their work, small company with obviously no ability to fund fixing problems they create. BEWARE with their system when they install the edge flashing they build up the edge of the deck that caused this problem, DON'T let this happen to you. I now wished I had given the job to another company.
