Neil is the principal of Nu-Phase and an experienced technician who is trustworthy and honest. He upgraded my 60amp service to 200amps without any issues and smoothly coordinated everything with BC Hydro. Very personable guy and very responsive to messages/calls. Paul Friesen was very responsive since first email for quote. I was offered 3 time slots to choose within the week to book my inspection which worked out great for me. He followed up with email reminder on the day of inspection and arrived early on location. Paul is very personable, patient and knowledgeable. Even though he knew the place was going to be gutted, he still took the time to inspect everything thoroughly including roofing, siding, drainage, plumbing, windows, electricals, flooring, appliances and HVAC. Paul took the time to explain as he was performing the inspection which helped me understand the report much better. He took it a step further by providing advice on priority areas to focus in on for home maintenance/renovations and what to watch out for when hiring contractors. He also told me not to hesitate to call him if I have any questions in the future. Paul spent at least 3 hours on site and emailed me my inspection report within 1 hour after leaving my place and was true to his word to give me a referral to a contractor whose work he inspected at another home. He was honest to tell me he normally doesn't like giving contractor referrals to remain independence. I have no reservation recommending Paul Friesen to look after your home inspection needs if you're looking for someone who is honest, effective and provides very good value in what he specializes in.
