We signed up with protectron for a two year contract and they told me that we could move during no problem. So we moved 6 months later, ADT charged us $500 to move our equipment and then without any contracts signed etc renewed our monitoring contract for 5 YEARS!!!!!!!!! I only discovered this after calling to see about removing one portion of my rate plan. I have spoken to representatives 4 TIMES. First time they said that when you move you automatically consent to new contract!!!! BEWARE!!! The tech that moved my equipment 3 blocks did not tell me that!!!!! I did not sign a new contract!!!!!!! The second call they agreed to change my contract to 36 months from move date. The BEST they could do. Well that was 3 months ago, and I am on call #4 asking why it has not been changed. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM ABOUT NO HASSLE MOVES DO NOT BELIEVE THEY WILL HONOUR THE CONTRACT DATES KEEP YOUR CONTRACTS BECAUSE IF YOU LOSE THE ORIGINAL THERE IS NO END>>>> IT IS LIKE A NIGHTMARE> WE CAN NEVER MOVE AGAIN WITHOUT THIS FOLLOWING US FOR 5 MORE YEARS AND 5 MORE YEARS and 5 MORE YEARS.

I found Envision very easy to work with, unlike other contractors we have had in the past. They are honest, direct, hardworking. He will tell you his opinion but the final decision always rests with the homeowner and he will make it work to be what you want. Alan is a perfectionist with the small details and will take the time to ensure the work is done correctly or it gets redone! We are in the process of the next renovation and now that we have such an easy relationship it is easy to trust and rehire Envision to do the next big project. This is a guy that won't speak down to you or change personality by the end of the job. His prices are reasonable. We learned the hard way what happens when you hire your trades through Kijiji or through Google. Having a contractor is well worth it to add accountability and saves money in the end. I liked this company so much he went to my best friends house and quickly got her work done as well. Great guy.
