Stay away from this guy, Alex O. who posted the first 5-star review about himself to deceive everybody. I hired him for a basement renovation. He was disrespectful, rude, did not know what he was doing and took the electrical wires and other components that belonged to me. He gave me no receipt, wasted hours of my time clarifying every detail and still could not figure out to complete our electrical work. While the area was under his direct supervision, our furnace had a short circuit and the motherboard had to be replaced which cost more than $1,000+tax. Alex refused to take any responsibility for this incident and associated costs. I fired him after initially paying him 35% of all the costs that he claimed were needed for buying the materials. He did not return any of my money and the materials that he was supposed to buy. The other company that I hired after him had to redo everything he has done because it was not done properly. He also claimed that he was a licensed electrician and was in business for more than 20 years. However, all this information could be false. As it turned out, the ESA certification information was missing from any of his quotes.

I had to change all windows and doors in our house which was a huge undertaking in terms of both money and time. In addition, we have a lot of air traffic in our area which added to the challenge. This year was the best year to do it because of the government rebate and breaking the project into several parts and years did not make sense. After contacting Ambia windows one evening, Tony picked up the phone, was very helpful and responded fast throughout the project. He thoroughly measured all our windows and recommended the best options for all levels. He also gave me a very detailed quote with all the detailed specs. I did not have to guess anything and was clear about exactly what I was getting. The installation was completed in just 2 days instead of 3-4 because Simon’s team had 5 people. Although there was a lot of expected dust, their team cleaned eveything well. Simon’s team was very friendly and helpful. They missed completing one part of one window but came back to fix it after I noticed and reported it. We really like our new windows and would recommend Ambia’s team who is considering a similar project. They have very good value for the higher quality Vinylbult windows and doors.

My water heater motor started to fail and Reliance team was quick to help. Sam Demelo came within 24 hours installed the new motor. He was very polite and professional. Thank you Sam!
