I know Stan's doesn't need my help but I wanted to thank them for all their help over the years. While it's true that they are a bit tucked away, it's like finding a buried treasure. Everyone who I asked for help at various stores would eventually tell me to go to Stan's for something that they didn't stock or couldn't understand (I can be a little confusing sometimes - ask my family). I would go to Stan's and they would have the part on the counter before I finished explaining. And they can tell me how it's installed, or suggest an alternative solution before I even have a chance to realize that they have just quickly solved a problem that I have been struggling with for too long. As a first-time homeowner, I honestly can't thank them enough for the peace of mind I get from knowing that they are there. I've never had a long wait or a big bill. There's lots to read on the walls. I hope they're around at least as long as I am and for generations to come. I think they help Guelph to be a great place to live. Many thanks.

I don't usually write reviews because I'm seldom satisfied with the work done but I was told that I may receive a coffee card if my review is seen, so here goes. I have a light switch at the top of 10 stairs but there wasn't a switch at the bottom even though a previous owner had installed a box (not sure why not). After a short search online, I contacted Home Pro Electric. An electrician came to my home about a week later (on time) and gave me a quote. I thought the price was too high but I went ahead with the work anyway, to get it over with. After the electrician was finished and had left, I went downstairs to look over the work area, as I usually do. The wiring was well done and neat. The area around it was tidy and everything was put back in its place. After seeing what was done, I felt I paid the right amount. It's difficult to find good service technicians who are skilled and able to talk to customers who may not know much about what is being done. But, I think the person who did the work in my home was one of them. I would call Home Pro Electric for future repairs, etc.
