Outstanding service from start to finish. We needed a backflow valve installed and Valentin walked us through the options thoroughly and clearly. He organized everything from the permit to the inspector. Sent updates of the job via text that were efficient and courteous. Completed wihin 48 hours of me contacting him! Will call Strong Plumbing for all plumbing needs in the future. Thanks Valentin!!

I have been having trouble with rats finding their way into my house for the past six months. I called one exterminator who was unable to locate the point of entry. Recently, another found its way in and died somewhere I could smell but could not see. Distressed, I found Sherwin on homestars and called his number. He came right away!! Within a few minutes he was able to locate the point of entry and implemented a temporary fix until we are able to permanently solve the problem in the spring once the ground thaws. He has checked in with me several times since to ensure that all is OK. He is personable, professional, courteous and highly effective!! I **highly** recommend his services!!!

Welda Windows was great. They installed a new front door, two sliding doors and shutters. They did an excellent job with pretty much everything. And all the service guys that came – especially Robert, Vlad, Zoren – were lovely. The one complaint I have is that the front door cross bar broke – because it slides too easily it got caught in the door as it was closing...a defect that caused some damage. But Welda is apparently attending another part to replace the damaged one... I'm currently awaiting its arrival in the mail. Overall Welda has been very good in both quality and service and I would recommend them to others.

We underwent a kitchen renovation between February and April 2014. Overall we have been very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship. The execution of the project was also quite excellent and the trades worked together seamlessly. In addition to being effective and efficient, the trades were also very personable and went the extra mile on several occasions (replacing damaged hardwood - thank you Nick!! returning to help with re-installation of a microwave when the first turned out to be defective - thank you Steve!! and re-painting walls when the colour didn't turn out as expected). Our project manager, Larry Maher, was also very effective and on top of issues. He remained accessible and was very prompt in responding to our queries or concerns. I would absolutely recommend The Home Improvement People to anyone seeking to undergo a larger renovation project.
