After plenty of window research, we were finally referred to Cana Windows and Doors by a well respected contractor who told us that their products were excellent and their installation service outstanding. He wasn’t exaggerating. The entire experience with Cana from start to finish was exceptional. We dealt with Susan Steele, the wonderful, patient, knowledgeable, honest sales person who provided excellent customer service by guiding us through the decision-making process so that we ended up with exactly the windows we wanted and needed (we love our new windows and doors and have had many compliments about them already!). She came to our house 3 or 4 times, she met us at the Cana office several times, and she answered countless email and phone call questions always in a helpful, informative, infinitely patient and good natured way. Furthermore, she kept in touch with us over the course of the installation until the job was completed and she was certain we were absolutely satisfied. It was an absolute pleasure working with her.
The installer, Bruno, along with his team, did an exceptionally careful installation job with a great deal of attention to detail in every aspect of the their work, including making an excellent modification to our sliding door installation (he lowered it) and making an excellent suggestion regarding the size of the trim around the sliding door as well. Bruno flawlessly and efficiently enlarged the openings for two good-sized windows in our shingled dormer as well as the openings for a fairly large window and a sliding door in our rear brick wall, and he also did a replacement installation for two other windows as well as our front door with sidelights. Bruno’s workmanship was of such a caliber that even the City inspector acknowledged his abilities and, I might add, never asked Bruno to change or modify anything. No wonder Cana is able to offer such an excellent warranty on their installations! (We also appreciated the fact that the installers protected our floors and stairs with drop sheets, maintained an orderly work site, and tidied up beautifully after the job.)
We were extremely happy with every aspect of Cana’s very professional service, as well as the top-notch windows and doors they sold us, and we have already highly recommended them to several friends and neighbours. Cana is the only window company we will be using from now on, that’s for sure. Thank you, Cana. You rock!
