The product and team are absolutely first class. I would give 6 stars if I could. We had a large addition built onto our existing 150 year old farmhouse, which needed siding and eaves, as well as replacing the existing eaves. We specifically wanted the James Hardie product for our project, and Can-Cro came as one of the listed installers. Firstly, they were cheaper than the 'preferred' JH installer, and they were able to provide a long list of reference buildings near to us that we could go and see. These homes really helped us visualize the product on our home, and actually helped us choose a bolder colour. Dealing with the Can-Cro guys was easy from the start. There was a no-pressure sales process to begin with, which was followed by a detailed and transparent quote. We had to wait about 6 weeks to begin, mainly because they only have 1 crew that really specializes in the JH product. But, boy are we glad we waited! Our installation team of Greg, Sasha and Mike were extremely professional, and did a fantastic job. Their attention to detail was far greater than mine, and it really shows in the finished job. They were punctual, neat and hard working - even when it was blisteringly cold outside! They basically treated my home as if it were their own. They also handled the trickier parts of the installation with ease - in our case a kitchen that slopes! Overall, we were delighted with every aspect of the service, and of all of the crews that we have had on site for this build, these guys really were the top. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Dave is simply one of the most caring and professional people I have ever had the pleasure of using. He treated my home as if it was his own, and took such great care of my property, which is pretty tricky when you are in the excavation business! Initially I just needed an inspection of my existing septic to see if it was up to code, and I was passed Dave's details after a few companies weren't interested. Dave came out and inspected free of charge, gave us the bad news (gently) that our septic system was failing. He provided a prompt and professional quote as well as a detailed system design and helped us get the necessary permits from the city. He started the work pretty quickly, and he and his family (it's a true family business) made fast and efficient progress in replacing our old faulty septic with a brand new state of the art one! He was patient and thorough when explaining the system to my wife and I and always answered our questions with honesty . He also provided a hydroseeding service that helped cover up the new septic bed in accelerated time. The only thing I would say to be mindful of is that sometimes he's a little optimistic on how quickly things can be done! If he says a week, I'd probably allow 10 days... If I could give Dave 11 stars it still wouldn't be enough.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Don't change a thing.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Ensure there is space around the site for all the machinery. Brace yourself for a muddy site for a while. Listen to Dave's advice - he's always right!
