Hired this company for a condo home inspection. Initially told me it would be $275 then charged me $335 and denied he told me $275. We have come to discover the inspection he did that found no concerns missed a broken window frame, a microwave location that is illegally low and close to the stove, 2 broken appliances, faulty electrical wiring. $6000 later and we are still discovering more problems. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS INSPECTION SERVICE.

Hi Kal, we take every complaint seriously and would like to help resolve the issues. In order to do that I need to know if in fact it was me that did the inspection as we have 15 other inspectors and I don't normally do the Hamilton area. Please send me the address and date of your inspection via email to mtita@lighthouseinspections.com. We do test the appliances and write the serial numbers in the report - please double check that the appliances have not been switched by the seller. Also, sometimes if there is a long closing items can get damaged after the inspection or even during move out. In your email please let me know what work was required for the electrical repairs as it is uncommon that condos would require such extensive repairs.

I strongly advise you to stay away from this company. They were supposed to come install my appliances at 4:30 pm they didnt show until 7:45 pm. They were extremely inconsiderate walking in with their dirty shoes and more interested in my background and ethnicity and exploring the features of my appliances rather than installing everything. They said my microwave doesnt meet clearance and I said okay can you at least install my dishwasher - he refused. I asked them if they could even just level the stove he refused again saying "it requires a lot of time and precision". Then after refusing to install any of my appliances he had the nerve to ask me for 80 "for his time". I told him but you havent even installed anything at least install the dishwasher, he refused and said when we do the install i'll give you $80 off the installation price. They left havent heard from them since. Buyer Beware.

KAL I feel sorry for you having to endure such appalling service (or lack of it). However the sequence of events you described certainly does nor resemble any part of our modus operandi at Home Appliance Repair Inc. Firstly we cannot find any installation service booked for Hamilton in our database. Secondly, all our technicians wear booties over their boots when entering homes. Thirdly, no part of our pricing structure has an $80.00 charge. Regret using this service very much. My apartment was very clean in immaculate condition and thought i would polish it off with some professional cleaning as the last cleaning service I had used was phenomenal but thought i would splurge for a non-wag jag deal and get a really great job. What a mistake. Unit was barely cleaned basically requested they clean the light fixtures and baseboards and windows. They refused to do the light fixtures because they were too "high". The floor looked worse with their mop, they showed up with a bucket and minimal tools and asked us if we had any cleaning supplies. Very unprofessional, use at your own risk. Buyer BEWARE.
