Unlike other companies, we are flexible in offering security systems at many different terms. We are just as willing to install an alarm system with a 3 year term as we are with a month-to-month agreement. It would appear you chose the longest service term available in order to take full advantage of the greatest incentive offered, which resulted in a less amount to be paid towards the installation costs. We try to be as clear as possible regarding any commitment on our service agreements, and encourage you to carefully consider this before signing any service term commitment with any company.
Situations change and people move all the time. As discussed with you previously, we have a move program and would’ve been happy to provide you the security services you were seeking at your new Vancouver residence. (We were taken aback by the comment we don’t offer wireless video cameras along with Alarm.com as this is simply untrue. We’ve had this available to our customers for several years.) Our Vancouver office has knowledgeable staff, and technically certified and experienced technicians. With our head office located in Victoria, we regret that you felt we weren’t “local” enough to serve you in Vancouver. As for your agreement, after discussing the option for the new occupants to take over service at this location, you chose to have the system removed instead of pursue that avenue.
Unfortunately, we are unable to make use of your equipment - we don’t sell “used” equipment to clients.
