I was at friends house and their kids were jumping around on some bean bags that looked pretty funky. I asked where they got them and they said a local home buisnes called Thread. I contacted Thread and the owner pointed me to her facebook page. I wanted 2 of the 36" beanbags and was thrilled I could pick the fabrics myself. She made them and I picked them up since I live in the same region. My kids love them and months later have not been able to destroy them! It is so refreshing to get something for young kids that is handmade quality and also doesn't come in only a limited choice of Disney princess or Dora or Cars. Thread makes other custom things like wine bags, pillow covers and children's effects. Costs more than other big box companies but the quality and value is exponentially higher than anything massed produced you-know-where...

Bought a top of the line Lennox in fall 2012. Furnace worked fine through wnter but in May we tried the AC and only got warm air. Had to hound the service line for 3 days to get someone to finally show up at 7PM at night. I had him check the coolant first and sure enough it was bone dry. He presuurized it to try and find a leak but couldn't so decided he would need to replace the coils in the furnace "just because". I could tell from how little the so called service managers cared when I called that i would need to hound them to make sure I got service. So many days and calls later the service tech comes back with parts and finds the pressure has held. I ask him to just recharge the system and not waste time replacing coils as he only shows up after 7PM. He has to purge the system and tries to do it during a rainstorm so gets water in his vaccuum. More days and calls later he comes back and finally charges the system. It held all summer but I feel trapped into paying their $20 month service plan because I bet if something broke I would never see a tech or conversely would see one right away with a $300 bill just to show up at the door. I tried to complain and say I would not recommend them and the service manager replies "It doesn't matter if you're happy, we have over 200 thousand customers".

Company Response

Thank you Mr. Maarse for your view. Aire One is a responsible company. Our technicians work hard for our customers (as you can see by how late the service technician came out to your home.), but they must follow environmental rules regarding refrigerant.
