Cleaning the house always seems to be a lower priority to everything else going on in one's life. Even more so lately as I have been experiencing health issues that prevent me from being on my feet for more than a few minutes at a time. My wonderful wife has been taking care of everything for me and our young son, but with Christmas fast approaching, and a project coming to fruition at her full time job cleaning the apartment in preparation for a family visit in 2 days, rightly kept getting bumped down the priorities. The stress was heightening, so I made the decision to get someone in to clean the apartment for us. VP Cleaning services offered 24 hour booking through their great looking website, and advertised last minute booking. (family coming in 2 days remember) Online Ordering was SUPER SIMPLE and very clear. I called because I was concerned there wouldn't be any availability in such a short time frame, but had my concerns eased when Set was able to confirm right away that it looked like there was availability. Confirmation would come in the morning. I had a pleasant conversation with Valentina in the morning and all was set for the early afternoon (SAME DAY!) 10 minutes early, Sofia and Alla knocked at the door. After a very quick walk around the apartment, they were down to work. Certainly a better job than I would have done (even when healthy). Our bathrooms and kitchen are cleaner than the day we moved in! Great job and even faster than expected. Going to have a great family gathering tomorrow in a very clean house! Where to begin? First off Javier not only owns and runs the company he also shows up and works his butt off with his crew. Fast, careful and professional I didn't feel like I had strangers in my house! The guys were fun and personable. They brought in a specialist (at no additional charge) to break down our bigger pieces and reassemble when Javier had to leave to attend to business. We joked and the day seemed to fly by even though we went over time by about an hour. We have recommended them to friends and encourage anyone who is moving to get a quote. We experienced the exact opposite of the typical moving horror story of so many of our friends and family. Cargo Cabbie does it right from start to finish, and there is the great feeling of supporting an independent business in a city full of big name vultures! Thanks guys, Maddy and Donavan. PS Liam loves the Spider-Man room!
