I needed to upgrade the existing 12 AWG AC wire to 10 AWG for a Heat Pump and a new 18/8 thermostat cable for the new HVAC system. The challenge was that the basement is finished and the CB panel is located very far from the AC unit, fishing new wires would require making lots of holes in the ceiling. Ryan reached out to me when I requested a quote and visited for pre-inspection. Both Ryan and Koddy from Pro Trade Electric are very professional and arrived on time for the job. They both took the time to fish the new 10/2 wire for the heat pump and 18/8 wire for the thermostat and furnace, and after the installation Ryan properly sealed around the outside disconnect switch. I'm surprised that they didn't even need to make holes for this job. Finally, I received the certificate of inspection from ESA. Thanks Ryan and Koddy. I will definitely be recommending Pro Trade Electric.

I contacted Constant Home Comfort for an attic insulation quote. Evan provided a reasonable quote for the job. Installer came on time and however started the work haphazardly. They did not bring the drop cloths for the stairs (I mentioned this to Evan to inform the installer to use drop cloths that can be used over the stairs). At the end of the work, they mentioned that their machine malfunctioned and insulation was all over the closet area and on the room floor. It was extremely messy. I instantly informed Evan and Sam that I am very disappointed and they need to clean everything. They were working like they were in such a rush. Unprofessional service, not recommended.

Bob is professional and arrived on time for pre-inspection and quote for the furnace & AC/heat pump. He is knowledgeable and provided information about right size furnace and AC/heat pump that can match with our house. He also discussed about the option for two-stage true variable furnace and heat pump. In addition, he advised what would be the settings for heat pump I need to follow to operate the heat pump efficiently along with the furnace. Moreover, he recommended proper wire gauge and circuit breaker that I would need for installing a new heat pump. Greg came on time for the installation. He started with furnace installation and finished the job with heat pump. Grant joined him in the middle of the work to make the installation faster. It's a big installation with lot of critical things to consider. There was wiring connection and detection issue with ecobee thermostat and furnace & heat pump. Mitch joined over the phone, provided solution and resolved the issue. Finally, Greg checked all the details before initiated the whole system and Bob helped me to review the ecobee user interface & settings. Professional service and great workmanship. I also want to stress that this requires at least two person to finish the job professionally and without being in a rush. Twintech Heating & Cooling should consider this seriously.
