My roof received damage due to straight-line winds. I called several roofing companies who refused the job. They would drive by my house, give me a call, and tell me they would not work on a building of that height. It's probably 60 feet high. Finally, Kiker Brothers was the only company willing to take on the task. The men were very hard workers and did a nice job considering the difficulties encountered. A couple of months later, several shingles blew off, but they came and repaired the roof. The only disappointment is my garage roof leaks, but it occurred after a few years. I've never contacted them to find out if there is a warranty.

I called Hiller's, because they had installed carpet in my other house. I was pleased with their previous service and they didn't disappoint this time, either. Kyle, the salesman, arrived and gave me an estimate and recommendations. I went to Hiller's store and looked at carpet samples and wood flooring. Everyone was very helpful. It took two weeks to order and they installed it right away. They were at my home about six hours. The two men were the best installers I have ever hired. The job was perfect. I cannot say enough good things about this company.

One evening, water was running out of my washer. I called Mr. Evans and he arrived early the next day. Within minutes, he knew the pump needed to be replaced. It took a couple days for the part to arrive, but he installed it immediately. It only cost $110 for parts and labor! Mr. Evans is a competent repairman whose services are prompt and cost-effective.

I hired Dave to mow and edge my front lawn for the summer. The area was about 1/2 acre and he charged $25 per week, which is extremely reasonable. Also, he removed thatch and aerated both my front and back yard. Afterwards, he cleaned up the thatch and hauled it away. The lawn looked great. Dave was always timely or he'd call if he was going to be late. He's a nice guy and does great work. We recommended him to neighbors, who were impressed with our lawn.

We heard about Ed Reiss through our realtor. Ed works on all the cabins located on Beaver Lake. After a long winter, the pipes at our cabin froze. He repaired 21 leaks and replaced a damaged water meter. The space under the cabin was so limited, that he laid on his back for four hours to dig out a trench. This way he had enough room to work. Also, the water heater wouldn't light, so Ed cleaned a copper tube leading to the water heater. This saved us $145 by not having to buy a new part. He removed our water softener free of charge. Ed is very personable and his services are reasonable. He was quick to start and finish the job until completion. Ed is very neat, thorough and efficient. I would recommend Ed Reiss Plumbing to all of my friends and family.
