Right after we moved into our new home, our basement flooded and we were left with soaked wall to wall carpets in our finished basement. We were new to home ownership, but we luckily had insurance to replace the carpet. We called AAA Carpet Service. They came out, removed the soaking wet carpets and used large industrial fans to dry our basement out. All of the other "emergency flood" company's were expensive and unable to come out right away. But AAA was fast and easy to deal with. They answered all our questions and helped us pick the best replacement carpet for our basement. I will call them again if I need any new carpets installed.

The cost is great, but the mess left behind isn't. My driveway is right next to my neighbors driveway. We have a grass division separating the two driveways. Collegiate Sealers has sealed my driveways for 2 years and both times they have tracked through my neighbors lawn with sealant. I thought the first time was just a mistake and decided to try them again, but it happed the second time too! I wouldn't mind if it were my own lawn, as I know the sealant will grow out of the lawn, but my neighbor keeps his lawn so beautifully groomed, and I feel so horrible that the service I called does that to his lawn. I stopped using there service only for that reason only, and I'm hoping to find another service with the same great price somewhere else.

When our heater broke, we called R A Dobson Incorporated. After three visits and several days without heat they were able to fix our heater. The first visit the charged us 348.00 for a bad defrost board, they reset the heater and said it was fixed. Well right after they left we noticed it wasn't working again. We called them and they came back a couple days later and said all the wiring for the system was shot and they replaced it for $95.00, and just like before it stopped working again. So they came back two days later and finally found the real problem (it was a short to the pressure switch). They fixed it and all has been well so far. They also sent us a refund for the two previous visits. So overall, they fixed it and even refunded the amounts for the other two visits. So I would more than likely call them again if I need a repair.

We usually have to have our gutters cleaned every year, since we don't have any mesh gutter covers and we have many large trees with leave around our house. In the past we would just call any local company to come out and clean the gutters, but each year they would crush many of the garden shrubs and flowers around my house with their cleaning supplies. Well this year I received a coupon in the mailers, and decided to try Ned Steven. They arrived within a couple days, cleaned the gutters very well and didn't leave any mess behind, nor did they step all over my garden. I was very pleases - the price, coupon, and service was just what I was looking for. I will call them next year again

I had a contract with another lawn service for 5 years and had so many problems with them; from leaving horrible turf tracks in my lawn to over-charging me for false visits. So finally I was able to cancel my contract with them and find a new service. I signed a 1 season (April-October) contract with Northern VA Lawn Service. They charge a flat monthly fee of $105.00 and they mow every 7-10 days. They also provide lawn services too. I have been very happy with their friendly staff and work. They even made a special weekend visit to mow my lawn during the rainy spring weather. I have been very happy with this service and would recommend them to a friend or family member.
