We opted to go with this company because they offered a very cheap installation price ($300) and no-monthly contract, with a monitoring rate of only $19.99/month. Many companies like ADT do offer a $0 down installation, but force you to sign a 3+ year contract for $35+/month. And if you cancel within that term, you still have to pay out the contract. Not wanting to be bound to a contract for that long, we opted to pay a little out of pocket and have the freedom to cancel whenever we wanted. Well, we never even got to the installation. The tech was over 3 hours late and never even bothered to call. When he got there, he had a terrible attitude and did not seem to want to work with us at all in regards to the placement of the equipment. He basically told us where he was going to install the equipment, seemingly to make it easier on himself. We called the office and asked to speak with a manager. The manager was not any more helpful, and had an attitude as though they had sooo many jobs going on that they could care less if they had our business or not. He was quick to get off the phone as he had another (more important) appointment to get to. He said that they could send another tech out to do the install, but it wouldn't be for another week and a half, as they were very busy. I told them I wanted to cancel, and I would just go ahead and take my business elsewhere, to which the manager replied "OK", and hung up the phone. If this is the type of "customer service" they provide BEFORE they install the system, I'd hate to have something go wrong a few months down the road.

We needed some additional outlets installed in our garage, as it only had 1!! Why a builder would only put 1 outlet in a garage is beyond me, and I was tired of having to use multiple extension cords to get the smallest of woodworking or other projects done. Two techs from J&J showed up 30 minutes BEFORE the appointment time, which I was unaccustomed to. Most companies around here will set an appointment for 2PM (for example), but you'll be lucky to see them by 3PM. They installed 2 additional 110V outlets for us and did a very professional job. They ran all the wiring through the attic, even though one of the outlets was only 3ft away from the electrical panel. They could of just as easily used metal flex to protect the wire and exposed it the distance to the panel, but they spent the extra time and effort to make it look professional. Thank you for a wonderful job. And my extension cords thank you as well, as they were beginning to get VERY worn out from being dragged out all the time.

We hired this company to maintain our lawn for a few months. It cost us around $35 per cut, weed-eat, edging, and blowing off the driveway. The service was good, and they are very friendly. There was one week that they forgot to show up and cut the lawn (it was summer and they were very busy), but after talking with the owner, he gave us our next cut for free. So, I appreciate the fact they didn't try and make up excuses as to why they didn't make it. They were honest and made up for their mistake. Recommended.

We have had multiple service calls and repairs done through Frank's. Most of it was just basic service and maintenance, but we did also have to have our entire indoor unit replaced. A couple of the techs who came out were absolutely useless. They seemed like they just wanted to hurry up and go home or to the next service call. They didn't seem to listen to ANYTHING we tried to explain to them. I don't think these couple exceptions should be a reflection on Frank's as a whole though. We did have 3 or 4 other service techs that came out who LISTENED to our issues and made a serious effort to try and resolve the problem. The tech who replaced our indoor unit was one of the nicest guys. He not only performed his job, but explained many of the steps as he completed them, being that I was curious to learn. So, as long as you get the "right" tech, I HIGHLY recommend Frank's for your AC service/installation needs.

My mother has been using this same guy, Wilbur, to clean her carpet for years now. So, as I was in need of this service, I decided to give this guy a try. All I can say is WOW!!! This guy does a fantastic job. We recieved a few pieces of furniture from a friend who owned ALOT of pets, and the furniture definately showed (and smelled) this fact. We also needed our carpets cleaned. He spent about 1.5 hours spraying, scrubbing, and vaccuming the furniture, and when he was finished it looked like it was Brand New (and smelled brand new). He then proceeded to clean our carpets. We've had this service done many times in the past, but most companies just spray some sort of mixture on the carpet and then steam clean/vaccumm it. This guy brought out one of those huge machines that supermarkets wax their floors with (looks like a giant car buffer), but his was fitted with a round, rough brush. He had a container with a mixture of shampoo and various other ingredients that was attached to the machine and dispersed as he "buffed" our floors. He claimed that this process helps pull all the dirt and nasties to the top. He compared it to how people wash their hair in the shower... you have to pour in the shampoo, scrub and mix it all up, and then rinse (or vaccuum) it out. This makes much more sense than merely spraying some solution on the carpet (as most other companies do) and then steam cleaning it. You have to agitate the carpet to get all the dirt up. When he was finished "agitating" the carpet, he used nothing more than heated water and his vaccuum to "rinse" out the shampoo. Our carpets have honestly NEVER looked so good. Oh, and he also said that since my mom was one of his long time customers, he would only charge us $120 for the carpet AND the upholstery cleaning (I tipped him an extra $30)...most other companies charged us over $175 JUST to do the carpets. Hats off to you, Wilbur.
