We worked with Tony and his team to design and renovate the kitchen and main-floor bathroom of our 100-year-old home. Although we've had unpleasant experiences with other contractors in the past, which made me nervous about starting another reno, as soon as I met Tony I knew I could trust him to do a professional job. He spent a lot of time with me going over details of the job and offering ideas I hadn't even considered. He is a true "ideas" guy and a perfectionist at heart, and this shines through in his work. He is also realistic about budgets and provides a very detailed budget plan, so there are no surprises along the way. Once construction started, Tony was always available if I had questions or concerns, and he made sure we were happy every step of the way. When issues came up, he had a solution. His team is made up of professional and hardworking guys. Halfway through, we decided we wanted to replace the baseboards throughout the entire house, and they had no problem adding it to the scope of work and had it all done within the timeline. I'm so happy with my new kitchen. Tony and his team created a work space that truly meets my needs as a recipe developer and cookbook author. Despite the limited amount of square footage available to work with, they managed to add more counter prep space and more storage than I had before. We had Darby and his team do interior waterproofing last year so that we could finish our basement. Darby was always available to answer any questions we had and also gave us three detailed quote options based on our situation. We paid them to excavate our existing basement floor, install weeping tile around the complete interior perimeter of the foundation walls, and then lay down a gravel base and pour a new wire mesh reinforced concrete slab for the floor. Darby's team was friendly and very efficient. They cleaned up after themselves each day and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Even a year later, when we had questions about our basement, Darby was willing to help us out. Mud Monkeys was referred to us by our realtor and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else in need of reliable waterproofing professionals.
