The moving company was thorough and detailed in its quote and the response time was always very quick. The movers were on time and brought all the right equipment to ensure my furniture was protected during the move including moving blankets, shrink wrap and bubble wrap. We did not require packing service. But the furniture was well handled and skilfully loaded and offloaded. They maximized each trip so it required fewer elevator trips. They were done on time and there was no damage or scratches of any kind on any of our furniture. They were very good and we will recommend them again.

Attila was very thorough in in quote and clearly articulated what he was going to do and how he would tackle our paint job. He was honest in his feedback and suggestions. He came the day before the start of the job to set things up and drop off supplies so he could start on the actual painting on the start day. He gave an estimate of 6 days but was able to finish the job in 4 days. He was quick, efficient and the paint job was well executed with clean lines and good finish. We were very happy with his job and will gladly recommend him again.

Our dealings with Luke Psarianos, the chairman of this company, were positive in the beginning and he was responsive. We paid 50% upfront months in advance and scheduled the job for July 2019 for a full bathroom renovation. The contract included building a custom vanity. However days before the scheduled start date, the project manager whom Luke introduced as part of his team, refused to start the project without having the vanity built first. At this time it was very hard to get in touch with Luke and he indicated that he was speaking to his project manager to sort it out. The issue was that the project manager and Luke were not talking to each other and the project manager had no idea that the vanity was to be custom built by Luke as part of the contract. He kept insisting that work could not start without the vanity. Luke, on the other hand kept saying the vanity will be built yet there was no talk of the design or the materials or timeline with us. Ultimately after almost 10 days of no resolution after scheduled start date, we decided to buy the vanity out of pocket in order to have the project started. We were assured that the price will be adjusted in the end. The project finally started. After completing the project, we sent several reminders to adjust the price and send the final invoice To which we got no response. Finally we received a bill at 2:30pm on Aug 10. we received a small credit for the vanity but were surprised to see a charge of $150 for installation of third party vanity which was never discussed or indicated in any prior communication. The original contract included the building and installation of the vanity. Through out the day we tried to discussed this with Luke via text messages. Eventually at 9:14pm on Aug 10 he said he had sent the bill to collection agency for non payment (just a few hours after sending us the final invoice). Just to be clear this was the last 10% which was due. We had paid 90% at this time already. This last exchange with Luke is driving our rating and we won’t be using this company again for the renovation of our bigger bathroom which we are going to do next. In fairness the work was well executed and the quality of work was to our expectations. Beware of the relationship that Luke portrays of his project managers and contractors. He may give the initial impression that they work for him but in reality they are separate entities which Luke only pointed out to us in our last few text messages. Ultimately if something extra is charged by them you won’t get any adjustments from Luke and you will need to sort it out directly with the company that the project manager represents (which we learnt the hard way).

Our firm's origins are rooted in the code of sustainability, dedicated to improving the quality of the natural and built environments in the planning, renovation, restoration, and design of built environments to live and thrive Our firms guiding principle is to protect natural resources, promote social justice and economic well-being, as well as to create livable spaces that enhance, inspire, and reflect local heritage, values and culture. Every project aquiring a 10/10 score is not a coincidence. It is success through our experience, knowledge and people.

Under these values we conduct our daily business and therefore it is easy for us to address Mousumi Saxena grievance and accusations. Mousumi purchased lights from a third party, which lights were already provided and accounted for in our original quote. Having been told that the second light purchase was not necessary, Mousumi asked us and not the third party company for a refund that Mousumi dealt with. We found this very discourteous although as a forum of Generosity, Sustainability, Stewardship and in keeping with our guiding principles, we offered Mousumi a substantial credit regardless of no wrong doing, and the issue has been resolved. Until then, Mousumi was unwilling to fulfill her financial obligations and asked us to seek our own compensation from the company Mousumi bought extra lights from.

Mousumi is also not clear in her interpretation of events alleging the vanity which Mousumi had ordered was not in production when in fact it was being produced. Mousumi misrepresents and exaggerates on the sequence and timing of delivering the 30” vanity. However our group does agree that the vanity was not to be on site until the second week, as this is when it was needed. Having experienced first hand the damage that can be incurred by cabinetry that is left in the proximity of a construction zone, we refuse to deliver cabinetry until it is required for installation. So our practice was not of being late, like the client notes, rather it was a practice of due diligence. While the client panicked and stampeded through our schedule, Mousumi purchased her own vanity which was agreed to, and was advised what to purchase. Of course the purchase was wrong and our staff diligently corrected the sizing, and this is where the least possible charge of $150.00 that Mousumi makes reference to was applied and NOT for installation. Installation charges were already accounted for in the original quote. In this case Mousumi cannot characterize “Installation" of an item to be the same as “Assembly" of an item from a third party.

We assigned the project to a Project Manager who has done work for us in the past. The reason for this is because there was an ailment in the owners family. We as an organization made the responsible move to have someone who was pre-qualified perform duties in an acting position in order for the work that was going on in the condominium of question to continue. This way the owner can attend to the travails faced. Once again it was misconstrued by Mousumi that we had an outside source performing the work however this individual was approved when they were pre-qualified in the past. This is what you call Accountable Stewardship

As our work was more than acceptable to the client which is verified through various forums of communication including therein her review. Most people we have consulted find the score of 1/10 insincere and vindictive. It is very unfair for us to become victims of others wrong doing and misconceptions. Every other project has been a 10/10 without any hesitation from the client.
