I am a single woman with a rental property. The tenants were complaining of a leaky basement. I tried everything to stop the water from getting in, like changing water spouts , caulking etc. but nothing seemed to help. I became so frustrated, and knew I had to do something drastic, like instal weeping tiles. I called several companies, and was so fortunate to come across Darby from Mud Monkeys. He was so kind, sincere and completely reliable, which is so important when dealing with contractors working in your home. In fact, his entire crew were wonderful. I can' say enough good things about this company (especially Darby) and also the price was very reasonable. I am so appreciative. Keep up the good work Guys!

I had a faulty water meter that caused my basement bathroom ceiling to buckle and start to show signs of moulding. I was so upset that I called a friend over to drywall and seal it. However this friend did a lousy job. Just goes to show you that professional help is often the way to go. Anyway after seeing the hack job I was so upset given that this bathroom was used by my tenants I decided to look on Homestar for options. I came across Alex at Creative Painting. Right away on the phone I could tell he was a solid guy. He even came over on a friday night after a bad snow storm to take a look. He reassured me that he could help me and that he could improve the situation. In fact he was very modest. I only say this because the final product looked amazing. I was so happy with the results. At first I thought that the price was a bit high, but then I realized how much detail can go in to these small jobs. He was tidy, hard working, and very pleasant. One terrific group of experts!! I interviewed several electricians before I decided to work with Kiya and his crew. Let me tell you it was a fantastic decision on my part. This crew exceeded my expectations in every aspect. First of all the price was the best and none of the other companies would approach the deal that I got. Basically I needed knob and tube wiring removed from my entire house. Plus I wanted pot lights in a number of rooms inside and out. I have a flat roof and no attic which makes this task very difficult and time consuming. I also wanted those heavy duty kitchen outlets in both of my kitchens which other companies were not willing to do. Of course Kiya had no problem with this request and at no extra charge. Speaking of no extra charge; I really had my heart set on having some pot lights on the second floor outside my window. The space to put pot lights where I wanted them, proved to be very challenging. Rather than dismiss me and tell me it can’t be done like I’m sure 99% of other people would have said; Kiya and his crew rose to the challenge and went out of their way to make this happen. After lots of hard work and several hours later; these guys managed the impossible. The outside of my house looks amazing. Thanks to the great care of this highly competent group of men. I am so happy with how they made my house look. I also love the way they genuinely care and follow up with you even after they finish the work to ensure everything is as it should be. Thank you Mehran, Bahman, Mario and Kiya. I am 100% satisfied with your work and recommend you without reservation to anyone who needs electrical work big or small.
